NORTH KOREA SETS MISSLE LAUNCH FOR TOMORROW OVER JAPAN. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

Kim Jun Un is proving to be even more deranged than previously thought. In just the past 24 hours, the insane fatman has ended all cooperation with the Kaesong Business Complex by ordering all 53,000 North Koreans workers out. Only a few hundred South Koreans remain in the 123 once thriving companies, and as they have no access to food, surviving on raman noodles. Once that goes they too will abandon their post. This lifeline was the source of at least $100 million a year to the impoverished state, and will be hard felt now that it is gone. This is a sign of bad things to come as ending this joint operation is suicide and considered one of the signals that the North is crossing the Rubicon for war.


There has been some evidence of a possible nuke test in the coming days, although both the South and the US have played down that rhetoric. What isn't in question though is that the North says they plan to fire a missile over Japan tomorrow. This is exactly the kind of miscalculation that could lead to a massive war. Japan has moved their US Patriot Missiles into defense positions and will shoot down any missile coming at their territory. If the missile hits something, by accident or purpose, in Japanese territory, the response may be withering and war is on.

China has publicly said their defense pact with North Korea still stands which means they may get involved still in a North Korean war which is not a good thing for anyone. This is still in doubt and may be nothing more than lip service for a country they are getting more and more pissed at, but the issue still remains that they might just honor their commitment to Un as well, leading to a nuclear war.

There is also another possibility that no one is talking about. We know less than nothing about the inner workings of North Korea. Our information is wholly available from dissidents, defectors and satellite images. That's it. North Korea could have secret weapon programs that we know nothing about or may even possess weaponry bought off the black market, China or Russia. They could have high end missiles, EMP devices or other equipment that we have no knowledge about.

The two missing North Korean subs are cause for concern because if they do have technology that we are not aware of, they could park one of those subs off the East Coast and nuke DC or NYC. A nuclear warhead on a sub missile is much easier to build than one that is fired in stages. It is possible they have this ability.

They could also be loading mini nukes into shipping containers and, through a third party nation, placing them around the country for an attack. If Un is as nuts as he might be, this may be a good way to start an attack. Combine that with a sub attack and cyber hits on infrastructure, even an EMP pulse over South Korea, and it's all over for us as the war coming after that will kill millions, possibly billions of people.

Tomorrow may be the beginning of the end so if you have anything on your bucket list I'd suggest getting to it. Un is unstable and has the nuclear capacity to do some damage, even if it's only South Korea and Japan. Pray that he doesn't.

BOMBSHELL LIST OF SECRET TRILLIONAIRES EXPOSED! MONEY HOARDING ON EPIC SCALE CONFIRMED! MSM MEDIA SILENT AS USUAL!

Regular readers will know that this site was one of the first places on Earth to start investigating into the possibility of secret trillionaires. It all started with a little heard speech given in the UK in which a man, Yohannes Riyadi, was purported to be the world's richest man and was dealing with various governments in prop up failing economies. The FBI called it a hoax, but my research could come up with no definitive way to determine Riyadi's existence, pro or con. For every bit of fact I could uncover, another piece of information would contradict it. The only time you usually see that is in government disinformation plans. Thus started my obsession with finding out what I could with limited resources. Over the years I have found hard proof that somewhere between $20-300 trillion lies in offshore accounts. This week, I found out that a group of investigative journalists, long abandoned by the MSM, has joined forced to start looking into stories the corporate world doesn't want you to hear. The group is called the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) and they have dug deep into this morass,far deeper than I could go with my meager resources.

The group gained access to over two million documents, mostly from the British Virgin Islands, showing that there may be as much as $32 trillion stashed in off shore accounts. While some have that number much higher, current consensus sticks with around $30 trillion, and even that is an obscene number. The people listed are your usual brand of "billionaires" who are anything but.

It exposes the lie that Greece and Cyprus went bankrupt because of bad deals but by theft instead. The money wasn't being given to lazy Greeks who wanted a thirty hour work week and huge benefits, but to the elites who were lining their pockets with it and then blaming everyone but themselves. Sound familiar?

Here's some of the names from the list:

• Jean-Jacques Augier, François Hollande's 2012 election campaign co-treasurer, launched a Caymans-based distributor in China with a 25% partner in a BVI company. Augier says his partner was Xi Shu, a Chinese businessman.

• Mongolia's former finance minister. Bayartsogt Sangajav set up "Legend Plus Capital Ltd" with a Swiss bank account, while he served as finance minister of the impoverished state from 2008 to 2012. He says it was "a mistake" not to declare it, and says "I probably should consider resigning from my position".

• The president of Azerbaijan and his family. A local construction magnate, Hassan Gozal, controls entities set up in the names of President Ilham Aliyev's two daughters.

• The wife of Russia's deputy prime minister. Olga Shuvalova's husband, businessman and politician Igor Shuvalov, has denied allegations of wrongdoing about her offshore interests.

•A senator's husband in Canada. Lawyer Tony Merchant deposited more than US$800,000 into an offshore trust. He paid fees in cash and ordered written communication to be "kept to a minimum".

• A dictator's child in the Philippines: Maria Imelda Marcos Manotoc, a provincial governor, is the eldest daughter of former President Ferdinand Marcos, notorious for corruption.

• Spain's wealthiest art collector, Baroness Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza, a former beauty queen and widow of a Thyssen steel billionaire, who uses offshore entities to buy pictures.

• US: Offshore clients include Denise Rich, ex-wife of notorious oil trader Marc Rich, who was controversially pardoned by President Clinton on tax evasion charges. She put $144m into the Dry Trust, set up in the Cook Islands.

Individuals and companies linked to Russia’s Magnitsky Affair, a tax fraud scandal that has strained U.S.-Russia relations and led to a ban on Americans adopting Russian orphans.

A Venezuelan deal maker accused of using offshore entities to bankroll a U.S.-based Ponzi scheme and funneling millions of dollars in bribes to a Venezuelan government official.

A corporate mogul who won billions of dollars in contracts amid Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s massive construction boom even as he served as a director of secrecy-shrouded offshore companies owned by the president’s daughters.

Indonesian billionaires with ties to the late dictator Suharto, who enriched a circle of elites during his decades in power

These are just a few of the names on the list. Is one of the names on that list that of allegedly mythical Yohannes Riyadi? He is rumored to be Indonesian after all. At the very least, he may be a phantom invented to be the face of hidden money, kind of like Keyser Soze.

Russia is one of the first countries to do something about this by submitting a law to the Duma ordering all citizens to remove all money from off shore accounts. We should be doing the same here, but of course, aren't.

Not surprisingly Deutsch Bank, long rumored to be filled with slush fund money from the CIA, Saddam Hussein, the mob and other nefarious organizations, has been linked to helping set up 300 offshore accounts for wealthy clients. In Greece, just four out of 107 offshore accounts, paid any tax at all on their holdings.

The facts remain that the world elites are stealing our money and then telling us we're broke and it's our fault for wanting affordable health care, a livable wage and clean air and water. Unreal. Worse, the most gullible of us are buying into it and electing individuals that are making things worse and worse. And the cherry on top is that the democrats appear to abandoning us as well with our President deciding less money for seniors as a good thing while blue state governors keep enacting laws that are destroying jobs. CT looks to be going down the drain as gun manufactures, of which there are a lot in the state, are all looking into leaving due to the stringiest gun laws putting them out of business. Colt has already announced that one of its subsidies will be moving to North Texas and the whole industry itself is most likely moving out of state as well, and with it, thousands of well paying jobs. Genius guys.

The Republicans are still trying to enact voting repression laws which we will go into later the week. And these brainless morons are turning our government into a Parliamentary system where minority rule is possible. It turns out that just 11% of this country is holding the rest of us hostage. Bill Maher may be right that two senators for each state is an outdated idea that needs to go. It is certainly not doing us any favors right now.


The facts show us that trillions upon trillions are being stolen from us, and considering the derivative market has an estimated loss ratio of over a quadrillion dollars, the $30 trillion may be low on the estimate scale, and instead, hundreds of trillions may in actuality be out there. In other words, there is enough money out there to fix every problem, give everyone on Earth a good job and still leave the rich enough money to lord over us. That is greed. And if it doesn't stop, we will soon be living in much different planet where the rich have it all and we fight for table scraps. We are not that far from that now. Start fighting for the future and not against it. Not voting for any Tea Bagger is a good start.

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: KIM JONG UN

If everyone's favorite midget tyrant didn't continue his belligerence this week, Barack Obama would have been the sure winner with one of the stupidest thing I have seen any President do EVER. Let's see those runner ups, of which, there are some doozies in their own right.


1)Parking Scams- In Israel and California this week, came proof positive over why we don't trust the government any more. In both cases, some unsuspecting person parked his car, went to work, only to come back and find out that there was a ticket on the car for illegal parking. The problem was, before they went to work, they were parked legally. In Tel Aviv, workers painted a handicapped spot around a woman's car and then ticketed and towed the car parked there. She rightfully complained and was told to go blow and pay the enormous fine of $365. Luckily for her, there was a surveillance camera nearby which showed everything she alleged was true and the local government was forced to back down. After which, everyone was sorry and apologized. I hope some one gets fired at least. In Sacramento, the same week, a man was ticketed after "no parking" signs were posted while his car was parked in front of his house. He, like the Israeli woman, fought the ticket and was rebuffed. After getting some media attention on it where evidence was found that the signs had been installed that day, contrary to what the parking commission has determined, the fine was refunded. The man has decided to move after all of this. Way to piss off the public.

2)Oversensitive idiots- When did we become such a nation a sniveling, cry babies? A flight was diverted recently after some hypersensitive fools demanded the plane stop showing the film "Alex Cross," which was rated PG-13. The attendants told the family it was not possible to turn off certain monitors and caused such a fuss about it, the place got diverted. I would be pissed too if I had to sit through "Alex Cross," but for wildly different reasons. But if you think your kids are not seeing stuff like this everyday on television, you really are not paying attention.

3)Republicans- It wouldn't be a douchebag column without some Tea Bagger somewhere saying or doing something asinine. This week, we have John Fleming (R-LA), who in the past expressed genuine outrage over a satirical story in the Onion about a $8 billion "abortionplex" being built with tax payer money, appearing with fellow douchebag Tony Perkins (of the hate group the FRC) slammed the UN small arms trade as an assault on the 2nd amendment, which would in actuality do no such thing. This is fearmongering at it's worst and one of the reason we can get nothing done. We joined Iran, North Korea and Syria as the only countries not signing the treaty. That is some company guys. On the flip side we have Nelson, Georgia which passed a law making it mandatory to own a gun. I am all for gun rights but even I don't believe EVERYONE should own a gun. That is a sure fire way to get a lot of people killed. Not everyone is capable of being responsible enough to own a gun and statistics show that there a lot of people who fall into this category with accidental shootings and suicides. This is anti-gun control run amok. And then there is Louie Gohmert (R-TX) who somehow equated gun control and bestiality. Jon Stewart summed it up best this week when asked what is up with all these Republicans and animal fucking. The winner of this bunch has to be the State of North Carolina that is actively trying to make Christianity the state religion, ignoring the fact that the Constitution expressly forbids such an action. How come all these Bible thumpers say we are destroying the country and then go about actively trying to just that? This is the same legislature that tried to ban global warming. Ugh.

4)Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian- After the rug was pulled out from beneath that whole Petreaus/Broadwell/Allen/Kelly fiasco we learned how the rich stay rich by pretending to hold charity functions and then keep most of the money for themselves. Turns out Lamar and Khloe's cancer charity, Supporting Cathy's Kids, is the same. Uncovered by ESPN of all places, they found documents that showed of the $2.2 million raised since 2004, not one dime had actually gone to the charity, but instead went to other projects like "elite" basketball programs. However, investigations into even that showed some discrepancies meaning, most likely, the money was pocketed by the two. What a bunch of douchebags, literally stealing money from sick children. I hope they both get cancer and their fucking demon offspring.

5)CNN- This week CNN unrolled a new program from their new CEO Jeff Zucker, poorly named "Get To The Point!". Ignoring the fact that this was the man who ran NBC into the ground, his latest new shows appear to be sinking like a rock. Ratings dropped by 50% from a repeat of Anderson Cooper that used to run in the ten o'clock slot. The show is a terrible clone of the almost as awful The Five on Fox News which has four Ayn Rand talking heads and a near dead democrat discussing how great Republicans are and why democrats are ultimately doomed. It's not a comedy but it sure plays like one. When your show's title becomes a rallying cry, you know you've failed.

6)Fox News- Speaking of The Five, as well as every other program this week on the Nazi propaganda network (no joke, that is how Fox News got started in the 40's), apparently it is a democratic conspiracy to fire coaches who beat their players, as happened this week to Mike Rice of Rutger's after a video surfaced showing just that. Fox said that beating people was perfectly acceptable and we shouldn't be such a nation of whiners. While I would agree with the oversensitive nonsense, pummeling school kids is not okay. Sean Hannity said his father beat him with a belt and he turned out just fine. Yeah. Right. I beg to differ.

7)Egypt- This week an arrest warrant was issued for the most popular comic in Egypt, Bassem Youseff, for insulting Egypt and Islam. The Jon Stewart of his country, his satirical show pokes fun at everything and is now paying for it as Muslims have the same sense of humor as the religious wing nuts in our country. Let's hope we don't start seeing that same stuff here.

8)DHS- The Neo-Gestapo strikes again. Memos were sent out to Border Patrol agencies telling them they will not be issued any new ammo for the next quarter. WTF? We know for a fact that these guys have been buying so much ammo that they have created a shortage, affecting police departments and regular buyers alike. So if you didn't buy the ammo for training purposes, as you have already claimed, what in the hell is it for really? Congress wants answers and so do I. Here's the letter:

Enforcement Personnel,
Due to budget concerns and ammunition availability, we will not be getting issued any proficiency ammunition for next quarter. In addition to these reductions, we are also being limited to qualification ammo only. What this means to you is that you will not receive the normal 150 rounds for practice and we will not have any extra ammunition for a combat course following normal qualifications.

If you have the ammunition available and would like extra practice during your qualification day, the firearms instructors will have a training course available for Indio Station Personnel, keeping in mind basic marksmanship skills as well as tactical training with a limited amount of ammunition. You are not required to bring your own ammunition.

If you do not have extra ammo to bring, you will be given extra time to clean and maintain your issued handgun as well as station long arms.

9)David Cameron- This ass stood in front of Parliament and claimed North Korean missiles could strike London at any time. Whatever he has been smoking, I want some. There is no credible evidence that this is even remotely possible.

10)Barack Obama- Just missing out on the top spot this week is our President. I will give him credit that he has done something no President has been able to do in some time. It didn't matter whether you in a red state or blue, Democrat or Republican, young or old, veteran or peacenik, everyone in the country stood together and in one loud voice told Obama to go fuck himself. This ass, in an extraordinary bit of chutzpah and political stupidity, is about to release a budget plan that is being universally hailed as the single worst piece of legislation to come out of the executive office since Nixon started the War on Drugs. Seems in order to get Republicans on board, he has included the Chained CPI index into his budget plan, which will give anyone on SS less money year after year, as if inflation does not exist. Democrats howled over this and his two biggest supporters, the AFL-CIO and AARP, have made it clear they HATE the idea and will destroy any politician going along with it. The Republicans have made it clear as well that as there are tax hikes in the budget plan, they will not support it either. So Captain Numnuts came up with a plan that has absolutely no one on either side supporting it. Genius. He has done real damage to the democratic party, AGAIN, and faces impeachment if this shit continues. Anyone supporting the Chained CPI index is a traitor to this country and deserves to be treated a such. Obama has shown he is a corporate stooge once again, and I am tired of the whole debacle. A huge war with North Korea might be an improvement.

11)North Korea- Kim Jong Un has been quiet the last few days but that hasn't stopped much of anything. Tensions are still sky high and we have been quietly moving in B1 bombers, B2 bombers and E-6 "Doomsday" planes, that I had never heard of before today, to Guam and other area bases near the Pacific Rim. The E-6 help co-ordinate with nuclear subs in case of an all out attack. They being moved into the area is an ominous sign. Worse, two North Korea subs have gone "Red October" and disappeared from sight. What might happen after April 10th is a big unknown. Let us hope that Un may not be as deranged as he seems. So congratulation Kim Jung Un, or "Kim Fatty" and "Fatty the Third" as the Chinese have been known to say, you are indeed douchebag of the week.

OBAMA, NORTH KOREA, IRAN, JOHN BOEHNER AND DAVID CAMERON ALL COMPETE IN WHO CAN SAY OR DO THE STUPIDEST THING POSSIBLE.

Hi and welcome to today's edition of the moron Olympics. This obstacle course is all set up and littered with bad ideas that our competitors are sure to trip over. On the joint Kenya/US team is Barack Obama, who in a spectacularly bad decision, has placed his shoes on wrong, his pants over his head and both feet in his mouth. Next to him is surly midget, Kim Jung Un, currently throwing a temper tantrum over the fact the finish line is so far away and his little legs won't make it that far. Iran has declared a fatwa over the whole thing while noting that Jews have ruined the game. John Boehner, in a pathetic attempt to outdo Obama, has removed all his clothes and is now freeballing it. And lastly David Cameron has made a statement that as he has been possessed by the ghost of Margret Thatcher he will sit this one out, which is odd as Thatcher isn't dead yet.

And they're off. Obama has a clean lead, side stepping issues like Abortion, Clean Energy and Global warming. Kim Jung Un is huffing and puffing next to him but appears to be running out of steam quick. Iran has fallen behind quick after tripping over the science vs religion hurdle, that has also stymied John Boehner, who has given up and is now rolling around naked in the mud. David Cameron is still sitting at the starting line, playing with a rock. It's Obama versus Un. They're neck and neck. Oh no, Obama takes a major hit when he fails to clear the Common Sense Policies hurdle, which Un has run underneath instead due to his tiny, tiny statute. It looks like Un might win. Obama is struggling to recover. But wait, Un has run head first into the I Will Nuke You Back to The Stone Age hurdle, allowing Obama to win by a nose.

It's been that kind of day. I fail to understand the level of damage that is being done and by the stupid people who support them. Let's start with Barack Obama's boneheaded, and I mean BONEHEADED, idea to put that fucking Chained CPI into his budget plan. First off, we can save Social Security by raising the payroll cap, as I have started on numerous occasions, not by cutting as Obama and the GOP keep trying. Second, all this plan did was piss off both sides of the aisle. John Boehner said he wouldn't even bring the plan to a vote as it contains tax increases. A majority of democrats said they wouldn't support it because of the cuts to Social Security. Here's a hint for anyone thinking of voting for this plan: Try it and see what happens. Any more austerity brought to this country will meet with an uprising. If you don't believe me, see how Europe is doing. And they don't have 300 million guns.

But it's basically a moot point as there is no chance of this passing. But to give you an idea how much worse things could be, John Boehner wants BIGGER cuts to entitlement programs. This in the face of the fact that a huge majority of 80-90% don't want any cuts to the program. This is a third rail for anyone dumb enough to keep harping on it. It was the single biggest reason Mitt Romney lost the election and the Republicans are still at it. Unbelievable. To show how "generous" rate increases for the Social Security have been here are the average rates for the last four years: 1.3%.  For two of those years the rate was zero. Yeah, seniors and the disabled are living high off the hog. And the rich want even more. Worse. Obama is all for it to. Thank God for Senators like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren who have both pledged to kill any deal that has the Chained CPI index in it.

Meanwhile, everyone's favorite deranged dwarf, Kim Jong Un, has told all embassies to clear their personnel by April 10th, as they can't be responsible once the war starts. That's how they put it. Not if war starts, but when. To put this in perspective, this usually only happens when war IS inevitable. He has also moved more missiles to the coast, another ominous sign. All workers in the joint business zone are also being evacuated by the same date, a loss of at least $100 million dollars a year to the
impoverished country.



This has caused other countries to amp things up as well. Russia and China are calling for calm, which is hardly surprising as any war would happen in their backyard. David Cameron, the British PM, made an stunning claim that they should be prepared for North Korean missiles striking them, which borders on the insane as there is no data, credible or otherwise, that suggest they have that capacity. Hell, China would have a hard time reaching the UK and they have lots more money than North Korea.

No one has mentioned the fact that the recent round of sanction on North Korea, ones aimed at depriving the elites there access to high ticket items, may be behind all of this. If Un can't get Nike sneakers, Hollywood movies, fancy cars and yachts anymore, he may be throwing the grand daddy of all snit fits because of it. This man was raised as a god. He may actually think he is one. His grandfather and father all lived under harsher conditions than Un ever did. He may be spoiled rotten to the core.

Iran has thrown it's support behind North Korea which is a very bad sign. Six party talks collapsed again, after Iran did their usual dance that is just delaying the inevitable. North Korea is proving why rouge nations shouldn't have nukes and don't think for a second that Israel isn't watching all of this like a hawk. If Iran and North Korea combine for a joint surprise attack, that could start a world war, one with nuclear weapons. This news today sucks. Must be Friday.

The economic news is grim as the government lost 32,000 jobs last month, more and more people are not being counted as unemployed as the total number of out of work American over the age of 18 hit a record 90,000,000 today. Mind you at least half of those are disabled, elderly or in prison, but the numbers still show at least 23-28% of the general populace does not have a job. Worse, that number appears to be rising. Instead of jobs, all we hear about is what they want to cut. I know what I want to cut and it dangles between our politician's legs. Austerity must end. The other result might make North Korea look like a playground spat.

NORTH KOREA CONTINUES TO RATCHET UP THE TENSIONS. CHANCES FOR WAR RISE TO 60/40.

North Korea unwisely continued on upping the ante today, literally pissing off everyone on Earth now. Korea has decided to move missiles to their eastern border, the first sign of heavy armaments being deployed. This is a serious escalation and one the rest of the world is watching intently. The US is responding by moving even greater forces into the area. This could get ugly fast.

Intelligence reports from South Korea and the US show images of medium range ballistic missiles being moved to its east coast for a possible test launch or, more ominously, attack positions. This is the kind of miscalculation that could lead to war. What happens if they are testing the rocket and something goes horribly wrong, such as striking downtown Seoul? No one will see it as an accident and a full on attack will be the response. What if they are dumb enough to believe their own press and attack on purpose?

The missiles in question is considered to be a mid-range Musdan, first revealed at a North Korean military parade in 2010. The Musdan is estimated to have a range of 1000 to 3000 miles. Japan and Guam, both of which have US bases, are within its range.

Should an attack occur, everyone agrees the end result would be absolute suicide, especially if nuclear weapons enter the mix. Should Un use nukes, the general response will be North Korea becoming a big glass parking lot. It will be regime change to the extreme.

China is showing how angry they are with their neighbor by shooting down a request from the North for a Chinese envoy to arrive to help mend their relationship, which has been less than friendly lately.

Multiple sources in Beijing told the JoongAng Ilbo on Tuesday that: “North Korea asked China to send a high-ranking envoy at the deputy-ministerial-level, but China rejected it. China said ‘if they want an envoy, North Korea should send their envoy [to China] first,’” the source said. However, the North hasn’t sent an envoy to Beijing so far, the sources said. If they do, China is likely to pressure them to stop saber-rattling and return to the six-party talks."


This is especially bad for the North Koreans and proving my point that if North Korea does something reckless, China will either sit this one out or even help get rid of Un. It is the only positive spin on this increasingly bad story which could lead to the death of millions in a regional nuclear war.

There is a more conspiratorial angle to this story is that some feel that this is all being engineered to help stop the inevitable economic crash that many feel is due any day now. Wars have been being manipulated since at least the first Korean war, perhaps longer. Vietnam was started with the Gulf of Tonkin, which we now know didn't happen the way they said it did and as a result, 58,000 servicemen lost their lives. Both Gulf Wars were started with lies and even Afghanistan may have been bogus if, as some conspiracies say, Bin Laden had nothing to do with 9/11.

If we are in as deep do-do as many economists think, war is the ultimate palate cleanser. It forces people to accept grinding poverty as a way to "support the troops," gives the rich all sorts of new ways to make money, and will improve the economy somewhat, mostly for the upper class. It's happened many times in our recent past and it will happen again. It could be happening now as we don't really have any wars going on, at least not the kind that makes obscene amounts of money for defense contractors.

But the meat of the matter is that the odds have increased the Un is either in some sort of power struggle with members of his own family, he is over-posturing to consolidate his power, or he is insane. With the movement of missiles to the border, if someone sneezes the wrong way, the world could see it's first nuclear exchange on a massive scale.

NORTH KOREA CLOSES BORDER WITH THE SOUTH. CHINA MOVES MORE TROOPS TO BORDER WHILE CALLING FOR BOTH SIDES TO RACHET THE TONE DOWN. WAR LOOMS POSSIBLE.

Many have long noted than when things start to spiral out of control financially, war is usually close behind. It's happened before during WW1 and WW2. And it seems to be happening again.

Today, a sign of looming disaster occurred when North Korea closed it's border with South Korea, closing off 123 joint businesses that employed both South and North Koreans in the troubled state, bringing in an estimated, much needed, $100 million per year. The border has remained open since it's inception in 2002 and has never been closed even during several other criseses, like the 2009 nuke tests. 861 workers remain at the plants but have been assured they could return home whenever they like. But as no replacement workers are coming, only 33 went back. If the North changes it's mind and holds the workers hostage, South Korea has been very clear that it could be seen as an act of war. If anyone wants to see what a giant miscalculation of brinkmanship is available I give you this scenario: if the North takes hostages, it may lead to a serious confrontation, perhaps even a nuclear war. Swell.

China is taking this very seriously by demanding talks between the North, South and US all the while quietly building up it's forces to prevent a sudden influx of refugees. It is also a possibility that should things go bad quick, China may nuke North Korea to make it a desolate wasteland and thereby stopping the US from being on it's direct border. The North may get it from all sides if they are not careful. China is not stupid nor irrational. It may turn on the North like a rabid dog if they think they are going to use their nuclear arsenal.

However, as China has a defense pact with North Korea, and are stupid enough to honor it, this could turn into a full fledged nuclear war where there will be no winners. Whether China is suicidal enough to do this is highly unlikely, especially if North Korea acts first in the reckless pond. If the South or US attacks first, then all bets are off. There is a possibility, no matter how small, of a nuclear war breaking out in the next few weeks. As if we do not have enough to worry about. We've got bankers going after everyone's money. We have a society falling apart. We have a news media not interested in doing it's job. We have a government owned by corporate interests. And now we have this crap, along with Iran. It makes people want to get into bed, pull the covers over their head and pretend none of this is happening.

North Korea said their mothballed nuclear plant will be made operational again, capable of producing one nuke a year. They say it's for energy purposes, ignoring the fact that the area is not even connected to the power grid. The North seems to be on a collusion course with destiny. Here's hoping they do not take us all down with them.

NORTH KOREA, THE CYPRUS "HAIRCUT" AND OTHER THINGS THE "EXPERTS" ARE LYING TO US ABOUT

 

The news constantly repeats these same phrases:experts say; some say; people are saying, with such regularity it doesn't register anymore. Who are these so called experts? Who are these people? Turns out, many of them don't exist.

Recent studies say that as much as 70% of all news we hear is from corporate or government sources. In other words, shit. And these experts they keep trotting out to tell us all is well are nothing more than paid shills no better than the snake oil salesmen of the old west. Check out this clip from the excellent movie, "Outfoxed."

That's messed up. Now I don't want to say that all experts are either paid talking heads or do not exist, but a majority of the time everything you are hearing is information designed for propaganda purposes. The news is using the term "some people say," as a way of injecting their own bias into the reporting without appearing to do so.

Take North Korea for example. Almost every newscast or article says the same thing that unnamed experts say there is a very small chance of war breaking out against South Korea and the US. There is no possibility that any expert on planet Earth can make that deduction and here's why.

As North Korea is a closed society, few people anywhere can know much about their new leader, Kim Jong Un. Therefore, no expert can say with any degree of certainty whether or not Un may or may not be insane. If he is sane, then chances for war diminish greatly. If he isn't, all bets are off. As there is literally no information anyone can gleam as to his mental state, the odds of a war with North Korea are no better than 50/50. A 50% chance of war with North Korea is not a small amount as they keep saying.

Who are these experts? Where do they get their information? What are their criteria for determining rationality of the North Korean leader? Without that knowledge, we as a people also cannot take what the news is spitting at us as gospel. Un could be a dangerous psychopath who killed his father to take over the country and is now a megalomaniacal tyrant bent on world destruction. Mind you that is pure guesswork, but tell me it isn't possible? If it does turn out to be true, then the possibility of war is greatly amplified.

The news keeps telling us "don't worry, by happy." Don't worry about North Korea as they do this all the time. Yes and no to that. His father used to do this all time. Un is different person. We have no idea what he is capable of. Unlike his father, he is taking this belligerence to a new extreme, meeting with his parliament again and declaring they will never give up nukes and will use them is they so desire.

The US is taking these threats seriously enough to move stealth bombers and guided missile destroyers into the area and warning the North that if they so much as blink we will blow them back to Mars. If Un is unstable enough to think he can win in such a fight, especially with a first strike capacity using their limited nuclear supply, the US will wipe them from the face of the earth, creating a whole new set of problems. The only good news with any of this is that the chances for a world wide conflict erupting over any war with Un is relatively small as Russia and China most likely will not get involved, especially if the North strikes first.

The other story the news is not being honest with you about is the Cyprus bank grab which may net some a loss of at least 60% from large accounts. This will lead to a new Depression throughout the region, even though the news is like the Fonz trying to say "I love you," when the D word is mentioned. It's always a recession to them when it's much more serious, and not a recession at all when things are even worse.

Turns out, this type is activity could happen here. This is from From The Trenches:

“A joint paper by the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Bank of England dated December 10, 2012, shows that these plans have been long in the making; that they originated with the G20 Financial Stability Board in Basel, Switzerland (discussed earlier here); and that the result will be to deliver clear title to the banks of depositor funds. ”

So it is possible that one day, instead of FDIC protection, bank depositors will be given stock instead of money, like Cyprus, which might lead to be  being payed in the equivalent of Zimbabwe dollars, or in other words, worthless paper. If the stock tanks than the stock holder loses everything and you become another broke investor, even though you never intended to gamble on your hard earned money that way.

If they do decided to do something like this I hope they have a good supply of body bags because this country will be PISSED if everything they own is stolen by the rich for their own benefit. It will be war at that point. Such an action would also lead to the end of the banking system as billions of dollars would be pulled en masse, collapsing the economy.

But the news isn't telling us any of that. According to their experts it will never happen here. If only we could believe them. But as they don't exist, why should we?
