1)The War on Weed- This has been another spectacular week when it comes to Reefer Madness propaganda against something we should have legalized years ago. This would have created good paying jobs, decrease our ever growing prison population and increased tax revenues into the billions. Instead, we have morons lying though their teeth about it. If I see one more study about pot use while driving has increased 300% over the years, I am going to shoot someone. Nevermind the fact that weed stays in your system for up to 30 days, driving while high has been proven to have no effect on driving skills as seen by several studies done in Holland and Germany. Speaking of Germany, this week doctors said weed killed two people in the country. The carefully avoided the fact that one had an undiagnosed heart problem that would have killed him regardless of what he did and the other was a raging alcoholic who also abused meth and cocaine. But in both cases it was weed that killed them. Right. My favorite story was the Maryland police department holding a press conference in which they said they were against weed legalization as it had already killed 37 people in Colorado. When reporters told them that the story they were referring to was written in a satirical site and was not true, they still refused to back down from their reasoning. That is some world class stupidity.
2)Spike Lee and other racists- As a white male, let me be the umpteenth person to say I have had it with racism. Not the still existing but frowned upon white racists, but the black and Hispanic racists who think it fine to call us cracker, honkey and lately "hipster," as slang for "I hate whitey." Spike Lee went off on the same kind of racist rant that got Paula Deen thrown out of polite society. He said he was pissed when white people entered his old neighborhood and made the place better. Oh the horror. He does have a point that these neighborhoods only got better when white people entered the neighborhood but that had little to do with race and everything to do with money. If black people actually started to get involved in with politics and education, they too could improve their areas. But if your going to do nothing but bitch about slavery which ended over a hundred and fifty years ago, you are not going to get far. Lee's childhood home was vandalized by some white guy (most likely as the culprit has yet to be caught) who has had it with the "woe is me, I'm black," nonsense. Likewise a friend went to a McDonalds on Airport Rd in Hartford, found the place dirty beyond words, got attitude from the manager about his race, most likely because he was white in the predominately Hispanic neighborhood and waited almost a half hour for his food in a nearly empty restaurant. He called corporate when he got home and I would guess that the manager got fired soon after as they do that a lot. But it was still racist to treat a white guy differently from the Hispanic customers. This has to stop, lest real racism from white people begins again. And white people, especially Republicans, do not think too highly of anyone that even seems illegal.
3)The Supreme Court- This week, the Supreme Court eliminated the fourth and sixth amendments while also giving Big Pharma legal protection form lawsuits over any adverse side-effects their drugs may give off. Now with the latter there is a reason for this as medications can have adverse effects that even they cannot predict and, if a vast majority of people can take it symptom free, then lawsuits shouldn't be allowed. However, this could also lead to big Pharma putting more dangerous drugs on the market with little reason to worry as they can't be sued so that one is up in the air still. However, they also ruled that cops can do warrantless searches on your house and that government can seize your assets for just about anything, going so far as to even limit how you can pay for a lawyer when all you assets get seized over a petty theft charge. Awesome. As liberals also joined in the decisions, such as Kagan, our highest Court gets even more worthless. Can we please impeach the lot of these morons?
4)Diana Feinstein- One of the worst members of Congress strikes again this week when she got a twofer. First, she said all ex-military personnel are "mentally ill" and shouldn't be allowed to carry guns. Considering many are police officers, she may want to rethink that statement lest her security detail get "compromised" at some point. Yes, some should have their weapons taken away for severe cases of PTSD, but I know many, many current or ex-military and they are fine, sane people. This is grandstanding for no good reason. Then this bitch used another no-bid contract deal to get her husband a lucrative deal with a high speed rail line for CA which will net her millions. No conflict of interest there for one of the most corrupt members of Congress.
5)Stupid gun owners- Some of you out there are really too stupid to own guns. Such is the case of an unidentified man in Michigan who shot himself in the head accidently. While blindly drunk, the man attempted a gun safety lesson for his wife in which he picked up three guns and fired each into his skull to show they weren't loaded. He guessed wrong on the third one which blew off his skull. That's funny and Darwinism in action. Here are others that did the same thing from the Huffington Post:

Missouri resident James Looney, 40, was also teaching his girlfriend about gun safety when he shot himself in the head in September 2009.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste, especially when it's all over your living room.
6)CT and gun laws- On the other end of the spectrum is CT who passed strict gun laws following the Newtown School tragedy. And like most laws passed in haste, this one sucks. How bad does you suck you ask? In enacting registrations and gun bans, the state police has said almost 90% of the public has failed to do anything. In other words, 90% of gun owners in CT are now felons. Swell. CT Police Spokesman Adolph Hitler, I mean Paul Vance, actually told residents that they face felony charges for non-compliance. When a woman named Ashley asked what they would do when thousands will not comply regardless of threats of law-breaking, Vance said " Ma'am, it sound like you are un-American, it sounds like you are anti-law. I am the Master here. I am the Master." Authoritarian talk does NOT go over well with gun owners who have responded by saying any police action will be met with lethal force. I know several people in militias in CT and let me tell you, they are not kidding. One group went so far as to threaten the police and sent out an email with the names and addresses of everyone who voted for this stupid law. Yet another law that criminalizes normal society while doing nothing to stop the crimes that cause said laws to be enacted in the first place. If these idiots go through with the idea of SWAT teams raiding houses, there is going to be a civil war so fast it will make your head spin. This is one of the most dangerous things going on anywhere, and that includes the Ukraine. This is the kind of actions that get people dead quick. I hope they think better of this.
7)Rex Tillerson- The CEO of Exxon/Mobil started a petition to stop fracking near his home. The irony is, this dick has no problem fracking everywhere else which his company concludes is completely safe. We all know it isn't. And this hypocrite should be forced to live, and drink water, in some area his company has fouled up. What a douche.
8)Republicans- For some unknown reason other than abject stupidity, the GOP is hammering Obama for not attacking Russia once and for all and starting WW3. I swear to God, that is all true. The right is pissed Obama is not acting more forcefully with Ukraine's invasion, conveniently forgetting that Russia has the world largest nuclear arsenal on the planet. Do the right wingers want Jesus back so bad they are willing to scorch the Earth for his return? For God's sake shut up before you get us all radioactive.
9)Russia- In a vain attempt to protect their shipping lanes, military bases and energy needs, Russia has decided invading Ukraine is the way to go about it. Putin has got to be one of the stupidest world leaders right now as he has singlehandedly started the doomsday clock in a head-on confrontation with the West. This will lead to further determination between the US and Russia which hasn't been that good as of late anyway. Shedding any goodwill from the Olympics, Putin is putting us on a crash course with each other that will not lead to good things. Most likely, we will see Ukraine split, ala Germany, which may make the pro-Russian sorry when their way of life goes bye bye for the fascist state they are aligning with. At least the US is still a proto-fascist state and could change. Russia will not anytime soon. So congratulation Putin, you are indeed douchebag of the week.
