10)David Rockefeller- This dick is everything I hate about the rich. The 99 year old billionaire just got his sixth, SIXTH, heart transplant. WTF? He is almost a hundred and has already worn through five previous ones that could have gone to younger healthier people who had their whole lives, not to some greedy prick trying to stave off death for as long as he can. Much like Dick Cheney getting a heart transplant in his seventies, when does ethics come into play and for doctors to say "You've had your time. Let someone else live."? How many people have died waiting for a transplant that will never come because these guys have all the power and money to do whatever they feel like? This should have been bigger news but as we all know the MSM is devoid of any reasonable content lately. There has to be a cut off age when, instead of spending millions trying to save someone beyond hope, we let them die instead. But as the GOP has Hitlerfied the word, Death Panels, we will continue to waste money on the elderly for lost causes.
9/8)Barack Obama/Shinzo Abe- You know you have a dick President when for some inane reason he sides with the Republicans over 90% of his own party. Meeting this week with fellow douchebag, Shinzo Abe, whose economic polices are driving Japan into the sea, they discussed the TPP which is NAFTA on steroids and will officially end this country as a free democracy with it's passage. Under NO circumstances can this law be allowed to pass and anyone voting for it should be brought up on treason charges as it is THAT bad. At least what we know of it because our asshole President won't let anyone read it, and if they do, they cannot talk about it to anyone who hasn't. How is that legal? Obama is Bush lite and Hillary will be more of the same. Thank God Bernie Sanders has gotten into the race and while I think he has a snowball's chance of winning, he will drag the conversation further to the left and expose the TPP for the horror show it is. Obama should be ashamed of himself if he was actually capable of that emotion which I doubt. Meanwhile Abe's economic policies have been just awful, as spending has all but collapsed and the only reason they are staying afloat at all is because of stock buybacks, which they freely admit to doing now. This is a Ponzi scheme destined to ultimately fail, even if the Japanese have been doing this bad economic reality for 25 years now, eventually it will catch up to them. The Japanese have been pioneers when it comes to every bad idea down the pike, from stock buybacks to off shoring and we need to stop listening to people who obviously are not doing a good job fixing their own house.
7)Half of the Supreme Court- What planet are conservatives living on? Apparently, it's a world devoid of logic and math skills. During hearings about the gay marriage debate, several of the right wingers on the court made some shockingly stupid questions that made me wonder how in the hell they rose to such a degree of prominence with the intellectual capacity of a flea. Let's take a look at some of them
Chief Justice John Roberts, on the institution of marriage:
"You're not seeking to join the institution, you're seeking to change what the institution is. The fundamental core of the institution is the opposite-sex relationship and you want to introduce into it a same-sex relationship."
Roberts, apparently unaware of evolution which is hardly a surprise, has conveniently forgotten that marriage has changed several times over the years, especially as women are less property as equal partners now, a serious change if there ever was one.
Roberts, to the proponents of gay marriage:
"If you prevail here, there will be no more debate. I mean, closing of debate can close minds, and it will have a consequence on how this new institution is accepted. People feel very differently about something if they have a chance to vote on it than if it's imposed on them by the courts."
Yeah because plenty of places still won't serve black people, right? Civil rights cannot be voted, only changed by the courts because otherwise change will never occur and black people would still have separate bathrooms in some places. Sometimes change has to be forced on people, like Plato's allegory of the caves where some have to be dragged kicking and screaming outside into the sunlight.
Justice Samuel Alito, to supporters of gay marriage:
"Suppose we rule in your favor in this case and then after that, a group consisting of two men and two women apply for a marriage license. Would there be any ground for denying them a license?"
This one is my favorite. Apparently, Alito, a Supreme Court Justice, is unaware of the laws preventing such a thing, otherwise known as bigamy and polygamy. So yeah, there would be grounds for denying them a license you idiot, a fact you should actually be aware of. I can only hope that gay people get their right to marry so they can be as miserable as most of us.
6)Hillary Clinton- The addition of Bernie Sanders into the race has taken a lot of the wind from her sails. The far left, and people like myself who run more moderate, love the idea of him entering the race, if no other reason than to force her to start take positions against things like the TPP, showing stronger support for gay marriage and shining a bright spotlight on the companies she is taking money from. One group shunning her right now is Hollywood who are waiting to see who else may enter for their support as, much like most of America, they are hardly head over heels for her. With current election laws, Hollywood money means less than hitting up billionaires like George Soros and Mike Bloomberg, as the right is doing with the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson. This election is going to bought and paid for by the 1%. Thanks Citizen's United and all the idiots who voted Republican to let this happen. Congratulations, your idiocy may have killed this country once and for all.
5)Chris Christie- This week, somehow, tub a goo was exonerated from Bridgegate, but his top three aides were not spared such a fate. One pled guilty, and stated through his attorney that Christie organized the whole thing which I believe, while the other two stated their innocence. Good luck with that as there are emails tying them to the bridge closures. Of course the FBI is saying the whole thing is closed with no further suspects but the court of public opinion feels differently. Christie thinks this will help in his possible presidential run, but current polls show his negatives higher then 50% and is becoming a pariah in his own state as his economic policies are killing the economy. He was little chance of keeping his governorship, let alone be President. Go away fat man.
4)Alan Dershowitz- This guy used to be a good attorney but as late has become a caricature of himself. This week he said the Baltimore cops should not have been charged as they were just doing their jobs and shouldn't be punished for it. REALLY? What part of they had no reason to arrest Freddie Gray in the first place do you not get? This is storm trooper crap that helped start the American Revolution, or are you so brain dead you forgot that? He also in the past has claimed OJ innocent (please!) and had ties to convicted child molester Buddy Epstein which resulted in an investigation from a woman who claimed Dershowitz raped her when she was underage, for which charges were dismissed. The fact that he has also claimed that child porn shouldn't be illegal says lots about this once great lawyer.
3)Bill Flores- The nutty right is at it again with this Texan and the two which will follow make me think that there is something in Texas water that makes its citizens retarded. While being interviewed by Tony Perkins, the Family Research Council President and far scarier than Norman Bates, Bill Flores had this to say about Baltimore and gay marriage:
"Look at what is going on in Baltimore today, you see the issues that are raised there. Healthy marriages are the ones between a man and a woman because they can have a healthy family and they can raise children in a way that’s best for their future, not only socially but psychologically, economically, from a health perspective. There is nothing like traditional marriage that does that for a child. Each of us have a mother and a father and there is no way to get around that."
This seems to ignore the fact that many families in the black community are being devastated by the War on Drugs which is destroying their neighborhoods far greater than just about anything else. But no gay marriage is to blame just like it caused Hurricane Sandy, 911 and the Northridge earthquake. Republicans have also said that gay marriage will cause more than 900,000 abortions, a notion that shows how stupid Republicans are as they do not seem to understand where babies come from. Do they still think the stork brings them?
2)Ted Cruz and Gregg Abbott- More disturbing news from the Lone Star state has the junior senator and the governor teaming up to see who can out-stupid the other. Disproven conspiracy theories have apparently reached these idiots desks and true to form, they think they are real. Allegedly, Wal-Mart closings in the state has nothing to do with plumbing issues (which is true) but instead are being used as off book FEMA prisons. WTF? Plus, unnamed, probably not real sources, have said they have seen train cars being used that have shackles inside and, my favorite, that ISIS camps are right across the Mexican border, just waiting for orders to attack. As the Green Berets and Army are holding training exercises in the area, Governor Dipshit called out the National Guard to make sure they don't try anything like taking over Texas, as if that was a realistic concern. Ted Cruz has voiced his support for the action, showing once and for all, he is not only too dumb to be Senator, he is WAY to stupid to be President. This is just sad at this point.
1)Baltimore- This city needs an enema, said the Joker and he was right. Baltimore is like Detroit where bad decisions by both parties have led this once great city into ruin. This isn't a Democrat or Republican thing, it's a political one that both sides have failed at. The current mayor is to blame for letting looters loot when she could have stopped it. The Chief of police is at fault for being the least transparent about what really happened causing the situation to boil over. Former mayor Mike O'Malley is at fault for mass arrests that brought down crime and created an entire prison class of citizens. The Cops are at fault for behaving like shock troops rather than societies protectors and the fact that half of the cops arrested are black shows that race is less a factor here than economics and power. The Union is at fault for standing by these six douchebags who should be thrown into gen-pop stat not patted on the back for a good job done. The people are to blame for looting their own stores and then bitching why they have to walk ten miles to get their prescriptions or shop for food. This is a problem that is going to get worse before it gets better because if you back people into a corner with no hope, they are going to lash out violently, and that is where the inner cities are now. We need drastic changes and the chances for that are near nil so expect this to happen more and more until cops become the enemy and then chaos will occur. So congratulations Baltimore, you are the front runner of what we might be seeing everywhere nationwide and are indeed douchebag of the week for your inability to change anything.
