Who in the blue fuck still stands by this tangerine nightmare? How dumb do you have to be to not see the train coming as we all stand on the tracks? While more than half of us are scrambling to get out of the way, a sizable portion of you are debating what that light coming toward you means.
Trump hit a new low today when he called war Myeshia Johnson a liar. This is the same woman that Trump called when Representative Frederica Wilson was listening to who went on to tell us how badly he fucked the call up. Johnson was interviewed today where she confirmed AGAIN what we have heard and also verified that Marmalade Pinochet couldn't even remember the name of the person he was calling about. Are you kidding me? What fucked up member of our military thinks this is okay? There are some which shows some people have zero common sense. This could happen to them one day and they would be fine with this? Please. They'd try to haunt him from beyond for the insult.
The worst part is all of this could have been taken care of had our moron of a president just fucking apologized already. But he never does that and as a result we have this magic moment where he and his staff are slamming a war widow. Nice. What next? Kicking puppies for fun? Baby sport shooting? There is no low this president won't stoop to.
Yet his approval rating still hovers around 36%. This means there are about a third of this country that should be put down hard because if they can't see the forest for the trees now, they never will. Maybe if the Democrats get into a position of power again, with the House ripe for taking, we should come down twice as hard on these religious and greedy morons. Let's take away tax exempt status from churches. Let's make abortion free and legal EVERYWHERE. Let's make a gun registry and safety classes mandatory.
The last time the Democrats had all the power, they squandered it, just like the GOP is doing now. Had they gone after bankers, helped people get back good paying jobs and raised the minimum wage for all, they'd have solidified their power for a generation. Instead, we got a half assed health care plan that was doomed to fail (and I wrote about that extensively at the time) because costs were never addressed which meant that premiums would never go down. They said they did way back in 2010, which I knew was a lie because my premium had the single highest rate hike that year I ever saw before or since (and went up steadily afterward with at no point declining). Obama lied through his teeth so many times, I worried it would give him a mouthful of cavities. I know people have fond memories of Obama and even Bush, but know they were barely better that what we have now. Trump is just the natural extension of a country that is not going to be around much longer.
The only thing we have left is what I have been telling people to do and that is park yourself outside of the White House and demand he step down. Why this isn't occurring now is beyond me except that the dismal failure of OWS may have damaged ALL protests from now on. A single day is great but accomplishes little. Going back day after day until you get what you want is the only way to do this and so far, no one is interested. An attempt at a march a few months back fizzled as rainy weather made many of the participants quit in the first mile, with only a handful actually making it to the White House. Snowflakes. If my health was better I'd be sitting outside by myself to make a point. The fact that NO ONE is doing this gives the knowledge that by the time anyone wants to actually put their lives on the line, it will be far too late to do anything about it.
Trump wants a tax plan on his desk by Thanksgiving. I want a million dollars and a pony. Neither is likely to happen. They are already having fights over what to put in the bill. Some wanted to tax 401k's, a prospect liked by no one, especially Wall Street and even Trump, who wisely saw that as a terrible idea. Likewise a possible plan to leave the top tax rate alone, so the super rich won't get a tax cut, is an idea hated by the elites and Grover Norquest. And they are still fighting over the elimination of tax breaks for state and local taxes, which if gotten rid of, would add thousands or more to anyone's tax bill who lives in places like NY, CA, MA, NJ and a dozen others. Any Republican who votes for this bill in any of those states, where they are already vulnerable due to a strong desire to oust Republicans from democratic areas, is political suicide as they would certainly lose their seat as doubling your constituents' taxes would be the equivalent of showing up to work in a Nazi uniform, which let's face it, some really should for truth in advertising reasons.
Some, like Trump, want health care added to the bill, because it isn't hard enough to get fifty votes for this right now, let's sink it for sure. If they do put this on, this bill will die and with it any hope for tax reform and a surefire wave against the Establishment in 2018. As it is, the chances of this bill sailing through are at best 50/50 and I haven't seen the finished product yet. Chances are good there are going to be sizable portions of Congress who won't got through with it for political survival. And that will make our thin skinned president to start going after Congress again.
Things look bleak people. War with North Korea and possibly even Iran loom large. Our economy is hanging by a thread and there is no chance it survives with the idiots in charge right now. Which happens first is anyone's guess but chances are one will preceded the other. And when they do, we all die. So if protesting outside the White House sounds like a lot of work, it is. The alternative is watching your family either starve or turn to ash. Your choice America.
