GUILIANA RANCIC, SEAN PENN AND OTHER SIGNS THAT AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE WAY TOO THIN SKINNED!

What a nation of cry babies we have become. If anything truly traumatic ever happens here, people are going to lose their minds. Over the last week, we have been inundated with accusations of racism and sexism where none may actually exist. We now live in an age where free speech has been diluted to a right as long as even the most innocuous statement doesn't piss some one off. The whole point of free speech is to be able to say what you want and unless the comments are truly despicable, should be either ignored or laughed at. But lately, any statement, no matter how much in jest it actually is, is taken as a huge insult that demands justice. Please!
Let's start with the Oscars this year. The right wingers cried up a sea over comments made by various winners, even if most of what they said was accurate. But the liberals out there were no better when Sean Penn made an obvious crack at the director of Birdman when he said "“Who gave this sonofabitch a green card?” The knee jerk crowd went wild on Twitter, which is rapidly becoming a new fangled lynch mob, jumped all over Penn and the obviously "racist" Academy Awards. Nevermind the fact, that Penn and Innartitu are close friends and the director found the joke hilarious, the Speech Police are demanding blood. This is not racist and lately, this is becoming the boy who cried wolf. When real racism appears, a lot of us are not going to notice because minorities are screaming about every perceived slight constantly. Learn to pick your battles guys.
Black people are still bitching about not getting awards for acting this year, conveniently forgetting that last year, black people dominated in the awards with 12 Years a Slave, which whole heartedly deserved to win. That was a spectacular movie. This year, not so much. For all the crowing about how Selma was snubbed, the fact that they made LBJ into a racist President when he most certainly wasn't, rubbed a lot of Academy voters the wrong way and it should of. If a white guy made the movie and turned MLK into a pot smoking, womanizer (which he was), the minority crowd would have every reason to complain. Why is it okay to demonize someone who helped black people more than just about any President since Lincoln but the reverse is fine? Here is what one Academy voter had to say:

“I’m tired of all of this talk about ‘snubs’ — I thought for every one of [the snubs] there was a justifiable reason,” an anonymous Academy voter told the Hollywood Reporter last week. “What no one wants to say out loud is that Selma is a well-crafted movie, but there’s no art to it. If the movie had been directed by a 60-year-old white male, I don’t think that people would have been carrying on about it to the level that they were. And as far as the accusations about the Academy being racist? Yes, most members are white males, but they are not the cast of ‘Deliverance’ — they had to get into the Academy to begin with, so they’re not cretinous, snaggletoothed hillbillies. When a movie about black people is good, members vote for it. But if the movie isn’t that good, am I supposed to vote for it just because it has black people in it? I’ve got to tell you, having the cast show up in T-shirts saying “I can’t breathe” [at their New York premiere] — I thought that stuff was offensive.”

And there lies the problem. If black people are constantly throwing race around, which happens with alarming frequency, white people are going to stop listening. And that is too bad because there are some aspects out there which are still racist and need to be addressed. Because of the awful War on Drugs, we have turned several generations into a modern day slave class. These young black men and essentially unemployable due to their criminal record. Even worse, black men who have never been in trouble are still having trouble finding a job as any non-black (not just white people), are subjectively racist and don't want to hire them for fear they will steal something or get arrested for something else and lose a trained worker. Their are good stats out there that show how hard it is for black men to land a job over a different race, not necessarily white, as Hispanics and Asians do not have the same problems. Because black women are not being mass incarcerated like men, they can have the easiest chance of getting a job as their employers get a double minority for their choice. If you are black, female and went to a good college, the world is your oyster.
The point of this is to say, just because you weren't nominated this year, doesn't make the Academy racist. It means black people have to start making better movies.Yeah, Medea films may pulling the black crowds, but there are not winning any awards any time soon. Make more movies like Chris Rock's latest, Top Five, which was a hysterical film and has cross cultural interest and less like Norbit.

Giuliana Rancic on Fashion Police got into trouble this week when she commented how Zendaya, who God knows how this no name made it too the Oscars, looked dreadful and her dreadlocked hair made her look like she "smelled of patchouli oil and weed." Black people went nuts over this including the famous like Whoopie Goldberg (who I am rapidly tiring of), Viola Davis (who also looked dreadful at the Oscars), Kerry Washington, Solange (why is she even revelant) and of course, Selma director Ava DuVernay, who cannot steer away from a imaginary race controversy if she tried. Rancic has been forced to apologize and co-star Kelly Osbourne said she may leave the show over the comments. Nevermind the fact that the late Joan Rivers would have defended her answer, where the hell is Kathy Griffin in all of this? MIA of course.
The main issue I have is Rancic said NOTHING racist. Unless of course the black community is suddenly awash in hippie perfume, this barb was directed at them not black people, which is what she should have said and turned the tables on the mock racists instead of some lame apology. Yet another case of a young diva, who had appeared on Fashion Police three times in the past, not being able to handle any criticism and crumbles to pieces when it is. This is the state of America today where even a perceived slight is cause for a mob to form and it has to stop. They do know white people have dreadlocks too right?

Talk to people from other countries like South Africa or India or Japan or even Ireland. I do all the time. They will tell you they laugh at us everytime something like this happens and call us babies who need a Whambulance, and they would be right. Black people in South Africa consider being called a nigger "quant," as they know being beaten within an inch of their lives is far worse. Muslims living in places like India can see what real hatred looks like and it's not here in America. And if you are black, major cities might be fine in Japan or Ireland but out in the countryside prepare to see racism in action as people there will call you nigger right to your face. When I was in Ireland a few years back, I only say two black people in Dublin the entire week I was there and they looked ill at ease. Probably because they wandered into the wrong bar and got a face full of true racism and were shocked at how bad it can be. Trust me those two came back to America and said "it's not so bad here after all." Maybe Goldberg, Davis, Solange and Zendaya could book a trip together overseas and see how awful it could be here. And if you don't like it here, do not the let door hit you in the ass on your way back to Africa. Nobody's keeping you here if you think it so bad. Trust me, a few years months living abroad would change their minds stat.

We need to start working together because this divide and conquer method is working against us. And until you realize that black people and white people and Asian people and Hispanic people are all being screwed over equally, nothing is going to change. Stop being so thin skinned and accept a joke as a joke even if it's in bad taste..

THE OSCARS AND RUDY GIULIANI. TAKE A STAB AT WHICH ONE WAS MORE RACIST?

Did you miss me out there? I ask because my web traffic is triple today what it normally is. Well I am back, for how long we shall see because me fiancée is sick as a dog in the other room and typing while ill is not easy. So far, I feel great but knowing my crappy immune system it's only a matter of time before I am hacking up a lung too.
Darkow cartoon: Rudy Giuliani
This past weekend was the 2015 Oscars and they were pretty much what I expected. NPH was funny at times, brave for appearing in briefs only and bombed with that idiotic "magic trick" at the end. The awards went to most of what was expected to win with no big surprises but the acceptance speeches were better than usual and made the far right scream fowl and a "how dare they exercise their right to free speech" bullshit. It is the perfect time to make a political statement. If only more people had listened to Michael Moore in 2003 when he said this from WND.com:

Moore said he believes in non-fiction despite the fact that “we live in a time with fictitious election results that elect fictitious presidents. We live in a time when we have a man sending us to
war for fictitious reasons."

He was right despite getting boos from the audience and death threats from morons. These presenters have an audience in the billions. If there was ever a time to get your point across, this is it. Take the speeches this year. I didn't exactly agree with Patricia Arquette's speech on women's pay equality as, while she is correct that woman deserve equal pay for equal work, the current lie that women make 77 cents to every dollar a man makes is not supported by statistics. Remove pregnant women from the equations and they make 98 cents to the dollar. Remove kids all together and women in some cases make more than men, especially in professions like teaching or nursing. But I applaud her for saying something she believes in even if I don't and I am not going to scream hateful things like the so called Christians on the right seem to do with alarming frequency.
We also saw NPH make a funny joke about the best and whitest, er, brightest. John Legend won for a song I really didn't care for, (although it was light years better than that crappy Adam Levine song that sounded like someone was strangling a cat while Slim Whitman sang through a megaphone nearby. That song was nominated why?), and then went one to talk about the mass incarceration of black males which has eclipsed slavery, and a true tragedy. This is of course due to our unwinnable War on Drugs that are turning young black men into convicts before they can shave. A great moment.

Two women directors won, with one, Laura Poitras of Citizen Four, accurately saying we should be a lot more worried about the NSA; a homosexual, Graham Moore, won for The Imitation Game and confessed to trying to kill himself when he was sixteen because we felt like he didn't fit in, and Birdman director, Alejandro G. Iñárritu who dedicated his Oscar to “my fellow Mexicans.” “For those living in Mexico] I pray that we can find and build a government that we deserve, and the ones that live in this country, who are a part of the latest generation of immigrants in this country, I just pray that they can be treated with the same dignity and respect as the ones who came before and built this incredible immigrant nation.”
The point of all of that is for the past six weeks all we have heard is how "racist" the Oscars are for not including black people in any nomination. I guess racist is now code for "just black people" because the winners this year were as diverse as one could hope for. Despite what the black community and the media have been selling us, the Oscars this year were not an all white blowout, and they never were going to be. Stop being led by your nose, people.

The real racism was front and center this week with Rudy Giuliani's rant about how the President doesn't "love America the way we do," and then went on to his patented statements about 9/11 which he does ALLLLL the time saying only he understands 9/11 because a building almost fell on him. We all lived through it, including Obama. My parents were on a flight out of Logan that day and I had no idea if they were one of the people who died until almost a day later. Fuck him and his bald head. Dumb ass got death threats over this and I completely understand anyone who did. I wouldn't be surprised if someone took a shot at him, but Liberals aren't reactionary lunatics like the gun-mad right (and that statement coming from someone who whole heartedly believes in automatic weapons being legal) so the worst he should expect is a bucket of red paint by some neo-hippie stoned and starving from a juice fast.

Conservatives should have been horrified and to their credit, a few like Megyn Kelly were, but ass kissers like Sean Hannity stepped up to the plate to throw soft balls at Giuliani and comment how much they hate the President because he is black, no wait, a democrat, no that's not it, oh because he "hates America." Yeah, that's it.
Cole cartoon: Rudy Giuliani
Scott Walker, a true douchebag who will ruin this country like he has Wisconsin should he somehow win in 2016 (a long shot at best), had been using this statement in his campaign to raise money for said election. WTF is wrong with Republicans? I agree that Obama has been a lousy President, but I wouldn't question his love of America. I wouldn't question any President that. These guys aren't Blowfeld. He went on to say that the "Liberal, gotcha media," is smearing people like him and Giuliani, regardless of the fact that for the most part, outside of MSNBC, the Liberal media is largely a myth. I would know having worked in TV, film and newspapers over the years. Trust me, reporters and talent are mostly liberal. The editors and owners however are always conservative.
The right is blatantly telling you they are racist against minorities. They could also be signing their death warrant in 2016 as recent polls suggest a big majority of this country on both sides of the aisle want higher taxes on the rich, lower taxes on the middle class, strengthened safety nets, and, the big one, gay rights which the younger you get, under 30, the less the issue matters unless the candidate is anti-gay when their popularity plummets off the face of the Earth. Many candidates say they will make this a key issue in 2016. Hope they like losing because without 0% of the youth vote, they won't win anywhere. They have 20 open seats and 2/3 are vulnerable just like the democrats in 2014. Demographics spell disaster for the GOP who have refused to modernize and may be a rapidly diminishing party as years go on as the country turns more liberal on social issues and more Hispanic, neither a good thing for the right.

For all the hoopla about the Oscars, the real racists were front and center and told you they were. Let's see some protests over this instead. Better yet, vote in 2016 and show them the street.

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: WEATHER AND CLIMATE DENIAL

A quick side note that because of work requirements in which I have taken a job that would normally take months and only have days to do it in, my column will suspend until Tuesday. The Warmonger has to eat so you'll have to make do without me for a few days. Something tells me, few out there will even notice. If you are out there are care about this site, feel free to donate to my PayPal account as I could really use the money.

But with weather becoming a serious problem, and here in the Northeast this weekend, horrific, we can all silently give a big FU to Mother Nature, climate change deniers and everyone still posting that idiotic article in the UK Independent 15 years ago about how snow was a thing of the past, as if it was some scientific journals and not a rag wanting to sell newspapers. Let's see those runner ups.
10)Republican voters- A recent poll recently said Condi Rice was not only the front runner for Barbara Boxer's spot in Congress after she retires, but she leads against unnamed democrats as well. Now mind you, it is way to early to even suggest she could win but the fact that she is in the running at all says loads about how stupid a people we are. Voters there do know she should be behind bars right now correct? It's the same with Jeb Bush who has hired the same felonious douchebags who lied to get us into the Iraqi war with zero repercussions. These assholes committed WAR CRIMES, not some fictitious scandal they keep drumming up against Obama, but real crimes. The kind they hang you for. Bush, Cheney and the like don't travel much as there is the possibility they will be arrested the minute they leave US soil. And yet some out there think Jeb Bush will somehow be different from two of the worst presidents in American history. The only bright spot I see is that Chris Christie is falling out of favor fast with donors with both NY and NJ top donors going to other candidates and his polls numbers shrinking fast. That douchebag appears to be done before the race even started. Of course the words race and Christie don't go together anyway so there's that. Can the GOP wake up and smell the coffee burning already with these awful front runners?

9)The Oscars- Having watched some of the nominees up for an award I have to say a lot of them are not as good as you would think. The Grand Budapest Hotel was a pointless, badly directed film that never once seemed like anything but a movie. Whiplash should have been like Still Alice which had great performances in it but wasn't that great a movie, and why it wasn't nominated beyond acting awards. Force Majeure, which many saw as a slight for not being nominated, deserved to be left off the list as it was pretty bad and one of the few they got right. Several anonymous voters commented on how they thought a lot of the best picture nominees weren't that great, and that missing out on movies like Guardians of the Galaxy showed a snobbery that was getting old fast. They actually said Guardians which I thought was fantastic as it was my favorite movie from last year and also thought it should be nominated. Why is it dramas are the only ones to get any love while also being the easiest films to make? Comedy, horror and sci-fi are much harder. Even stranger is that Interstellar got nowhere beyond technical awards and again, far better than most of the best picture nominees this year. The Oscars this year are going to be BORING as most of the pictures no one has seen, most of the awards are already known who is going to win and for the most part, no one cares. Again.

8)Walking videos of harassment- These have become all the norm lately. A random minority walks down the street and gets "harassed." Now in some cases, they have a point. A woman walking down the street doesn't need to be told she has a great ass or would she like to come over and screw some random guy. That's crass. Likewise for black people, gay people or Jews to be treated badly just because. A recent video of a Jew walking down Muslim areas of Paris showed some real hate where none should really exist. Now on the flip side, the Jewish video took ten hours of footage and boiled it down to ninety seconds. That's not quite the same as being constantly harassed. The same goes for a pretty girl walking down the streets of NYC in which 90% of what was being said was complementary not harassment. If someone says your beautiful and that's all, that's not being harassed that being paid a compliment, unwanted or not. Oh, the horror, someone called you pretty. Stop the presses we've got another Selma riot on our hands. Oddly, the one who got the worst of it was a good looking guy who got harassed by women and gay guys alike, but God forbid some straight white guy gets harassed. That's not PC enough. The world is way too thin skinned lately and we need to grow up stat.
7)Anti-vaccine morons- I get it. You don't trust doctors or pharmaceuticals or reality. And you shouldn't. However, unless there is some real good data out there, which there isn't that says vaccines are dangerous, immunize your fucking children already. The only thing that may have some weight is the fact that vaccines may not work as well as they used to due to Big Pharma cutting back on cost controls to maximize profit. That I can believe. But all that does is make it more likely you will get disease, not that your kids will be a drooling idiot soon after and a completely separate problem that is the thing you should be much more worried about. We have also heard from moron central that diseases are coming across the border from Mexico which is why the uptick in Measles. The fact remains however that Mexico has an excellent vaccination program and it is actually the reverse in that stupid Americans are bringing the measles to them, as is being reported in scientific journals and the Mexican government. Now that's funny. Vaccines do NOT cause autism. Having children way later than God intended us to have is probably why autism is on the rise so the cure is to eliminate debt and a better paying starting wage not vaccinations. This is why you are not being told the truth as that would make everything better and this anti-vaccination nonsense makes a better cover.
6)Marie Harf- Some people I have no idea how they got to where they are. This clueless bitch is a prime example. She currently is the Deputy Spokesperson for the State Department (CIA) and has spent most of her career talking about such bullshit I am surprised she still has a job. She has continued the Obama spin that we are not fighting Muslims but terrorists who have bastardized it, which is not entirely true. There are a lot of moderate Muslims out there who believe that leaving the religion or drawing the prophet Mohammed is a reason for killing them. That is pretty out there. When she asked recently about what other non-Muslim terrorist groups we are going after, she couldn't name one. She was forced to apologize for the massive blunder over not sending a high level person to France after the Charlie Hebdo attacks. And now she laughably says if the terrorists only had jobs none of this would be occurring, oblivious to the fact that a lot of these terror attacks world wide are being committed by people either in school, like the Boston Bombers, doctors, like the Scottish attack on their airport years back or educated idiots like the 9/11 attackers. Jobs wasn't that factor here, religion was. We better wake up soon that Muslim religious morons are starting to take over a lot of territory, like the Nazi's and if we do not treat it like an existential threat, one day, one of these guys is going to do something momentous in which thousands, maybe even millions die. And Harf will have no idea until after it is way too late.

5)SNL haters- We get it. You don't like the show. So stop watching then. I am so tired of hearing "SNL was funny...." and then insert date here. Yes the show has been hit or miss for years but considering it is forty years old, I think it has held up rather well. The usual trolls have come out about the special that aired last Sunday and I loved it, except for the fact that Eddie Murphy was barely there, having refused to play Bill Cosby in the Jeopardy sketch, which was the highlight of the night. This is why his career is in the toilet lately: bad decision making. SNL is an institution and if you don't like it, do something else. No one's forcing you to tune in.
4)Nicolas Brendon- The only person from Buffy the Vampire Slayer not to hit it big after, with SMG, Allison Hannigan, Seth Green, Charisma Carpenter and even Danny Strong still going gangbusters years later, Brendon's career has sank to occasional guest spots of Criminal Minds and a very good direct to DVD film called Coherence and that's about it. He was re-arrested this week for refusal to pay for damages that occurred at a hotel room for which he was previously booked for disturbance claims. This may have had to do with the end of his four month marriage that imploded like his career. I can only hope he does better than this because I like the guy.

3)Andrew S. Hanen- Yet another douchebag activist judge the right screams about when the ruling doesn't go their way and then remain eerily quiet when it does. This dick from Texas just quashed Obama's immigration law which this country desperately needs as the Republican idea is to send them all back to wherever, even though it is not possible in the slightest. Immigration laws need to be updated and revised but the GOP idea for anything not working is to get rid of it, unless it is already not working in which case it should stay indefinitely. These people are retarded.

2)Vanilla Ice- The former rapper was arrested this week for Grand Theft after an empty home next door to one he was renovating for his show was robbed and the stolen material was found in his house. This is from TMZ:

According to the arrest report ... Ice lied to cops about owning the vacant Lake Worth, FL house where his "Vanilla Ice Project" TV crew allegedly made off with the pilfered items -- but he claims he thought some of the stuff was fair game because it was on the curb.

But that doesn't jibe with his foreman who says Ice also instructed the production crew to go inside the house ... and target specific items like a pool heater, valued at $3000. The foreman says Ice also lied to him about owning the place.

Oops! Something tells me, Ice is going to be going to the pokey soon, which would help his street cred he once tried to peddle as a tough kid from the streets when in actuality he grew up in an upper middle class neighborhood. Bye Bye, Ice.
1)Weather and climate denial- Here in the Northeast, we are looking at an absolute disaster this weekend as the Boston area is going to get a driving rain which will add significant weight to the 4000 feet of snow we already have. A shopping mall I drive by daily collapsed yesterday and two people were nearly killed when a wave of snow from a rooftop buried them completely and had to be dug out avalanche style. Trust me when I say people would much rather have two more feet of snow than rain at this point. Meanwhile, the climate deniers are crowing about the cold, unaware that one of the signs of climate disturbances is the fact that more moisture in the air means more snow not less and we are seeing it here in the NE in spades. Climate change is real and we are seeing it now on a monthly basis. This winter is sure a record winner. And so is Mother Nature and the idiots who think humans are not affecting the weather. So congratulations you two, you are all douchebags of the week.
