IS FUKUSHIMA POISONING US ALL? FACTS SAY MAYBE.

In the most under-reported story of the last few decades, few outside of Japan realize that the damaged Fukushima nuclear plant is still giving off dangerous radiation. Now mind you most of the problems are limited to the Japanese region which will most likely be uninhabitable for the next few centuries. And while the world may not be in danger of radioactive clouds, the Western US is still vulnerable as well as food supplies and the Pacific Ocean.

Every day, 300 tons of radioactive water is being released into the Pacific. There is no scientific consensus as to what will be the long term damage from this. It is also estimated that over 1300 nuclear fuel rods still need to be removed. As they all have to be done by hand, the risk of a nuclear meltdown increases dramatically. The cesium-137 contained within those rods is 14,000 higher than the radiation given off by the bombs in Nagasaki and Hiroshima combined. All of that radiation is being pumped into the ocean in huge numbers every day with no idea how this will affect local wildlife or the ecosystem in general. Cesium levels in the Pacific have increased ten fold since 2011 and could take up to 40 years to fix. No hurry guys.

Health wise, this disaster has allegedly already helped increase a huge spike in animal and human deaths. No while it is impossible to say for sure whether Fukushima is responsible for these deaths, it is telling that all of this occurred right AFTER the plant went belly up. 150 Marines and Navy personnel are suing Tepco and Japan for radiation sickness they got while serving on ships that were close to the plant. Even worse, according to the International Journal of Health Services, 14,000 people have died in this country alone from fallout. This occurs as even one isotope of radioactive material can kill infants, the elderly or anyone with falling health. Infant mortality has spiked tremendously throughout the West Coast by as much as 7%.  Here's a snippet from the report:

An estimated 14,000 excess deaths in the United States are linked to the radioactive fallout from the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear reactors in Japan, according to a major new article in the December 2011 edition of the International Journal of Health Services. This is the first peer-reviewed study published in a medical journal documenting the health hazards of Fukushima.[The authors] note that their estimate of 14,000 excess U.S. deaths in the 14 weeks after the Fukushima meltdowns is comparable to the 16,500 excess deaths in the 17 weeks after the Chernobyl meltdown in 1986. The rise in reported deaths after Fukushima was largest among U.S. infants under age one. The 2010-2011 increase for infant deaths in the spring was 1.8 percent, compared to a decrease of 8.37 percent in the preceding 14 weeks.

As a result of studies like this, the US and Canada no longer release information to the general public about radiation levels. Thanks. They have also increased the amount of radiation levels allowed in our food and water that instead of killing one out of 10,000 will now off an estimated one in 23. Thanks Obama. Experts say there is no compelling reasons to raise these levels except for greed, corruption and cronyism.

Our food supply is no better with some sort of viral hemorrhagic disease affecting fish in British Columbia. Apparently they are bleeding from the eyes, gills and mouth. MMMM yummy. In just the last two months, there has been an unreported epidemic of fish die off world wide. Now while some can be attributed to things that cause typical fish deaths, many seem odd. That's a lot of dead fish. Dead zones are appearing more and more frequently which has nothing to do with Fukishima and more to do with pollution, overpopulation and climate change. All the while, governments do nothing, the media doesn't report it and the general public remains blissfully unaware until they find grandma dead in the tub, their infants stiff and blue and cancer rampant in their community. Fukushima is poisoning us and the government is allowing to happen. Say something now or wait to die. Your choice.
