SYRIA, NASDAQ, GUN CONTROL AND OTHER THINGS SUSPICIOUS ABOUND.

There has been a lot of things going lately that are super suspicious as to why are these are all happening right now. Syrian rebels are allegedly hit by a chemical attack at the same time as UN investigators are there for previous claims. Michael Hastings is said to have had pot and meth in his system but in such small levels as to not have been an impairment. Guess which factoid the press latched on to, and if you guessed "minuscule amount," you would be wrong. Another crazy person gets a gun and almost shoots more children and again guess which part of that sentence gun control advocated screamed about? And lastly, we see yet another case of black on white violence yet people are still bitching about George Zimmerman who wasn't even white. When did we lose any sense of reason in this country?

Let's start with the most recent unfolding story which is that the NASDAQ had been shut down for several hours today due to some sort of unnamed glitch. Whether this was caused by an flash crash, a hacker attack or some sort of technical issue is yet to be determined but it sent the NASDAQ down while the stock market rose 66 points for some inane reason. All the signs are there that something bad is going to happen.

The news and government are crowing about the recent steep rise in home prices and mortgages as a sign the economy is recovering when nothing of the sort is actually occurring. Individual buyers have shrunk to a whopping 40% of all buyers, the rest being bought en masse by flippers which are the only reason housing is going up, ala 2008 all over again. Everything that crashed the system the first time is occurring again and the government and media are ignoring all the signs that the rest of can see. And it's not just here but overseas as the EU economy continues to slowly implode. Greece is going to need yet another bailout because, as I've said a million times, the actions they are taking will NEVER work and they are just throwing good money after bad now. We need to follow Iceland's example of arresting the bankers, breaking them up, getting rid of all the politicians who decided this course of action and giving people their houses free and clear of all debt. Funny how that actually worked while the rest of spin our wheels uselessly.

Treasuries are continuing to climb, an ominous sign as if they rise to far, people will stop buying them and the entire world economy will go with it when the derivative market crashes, which at this point, is inevitable. That market has a liability as high a one quadrillion dollars, or more money than anyone on Earth has. When it goes down, the entire world will go with it. And the first cracks in it's armor are starting to show. Investors are starting pull money from treasury bond at a staggering pace, with the near $70 billion removed in June a record. This month $20 billion more fled. China and Japan are two of the biggest sellers who are also the two highest foreign investors as well. The fact the we have seen a huge number of Hindenburg Omens these past few weeks does not inspire confidence as well.

As for the so called Housing Marker rebirth, Fannie and Freddie are reportedly billions in debt, as are most of the banks who have been hiding their toxic assets in a game of whack a mole. There are millions of foreclosed homes that are sitting idle as to not crash the market, a lot of them I would guess are in places like Detroit which has zero hope of unloading them anytime soon.

Retail continues to suffer with Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Sears, JC Penney and others all reporting less than stellar sales and even worse projected growth for the next quarter, including Christmas which they see as dismal. How is any of this signs that our economy is improving? It isn't and most of us know it.

But other stories raise hackles as well, especially the so called chemical attack on Syrian rebels. If true, Assad is the stupidest man on the face of this Earth. Who uses chemical weapons when you know full well that UN investigators are there looking into previous attacks? It is much more likely rebels gassed their own people in a false flag attack to get international support for the failing rebellion. By the way for all you conspiracy theorists out there, this is what a false flag attack looks like not two morons blowing up innocent people at the Boston Marathon. A false flag attack is done to elict support for your cause, not the deaths of a few people that barely rasies an eyebrow.

And then there are these two stories this week, one involving yet another dangerously insane individual who is walking the streets even though he was a proven danger and two black thugs (and one white one) that is surprisingly racist in every sense of the word.

Michael Brandon Hill, 20, walked into an Atlanta elementary school and opened fire, luckily not hitting anyone. When police returned fire, he gave up in a rare moment of lucidity. Many will laser focus on the fact that he had an AK-47 and rev up the old chestnut of gun control, missing the real culprit here. In every case of a shooting over the last decade, the person doing it was dangerously, mentally ill and should have been off the streets long before violence occurred. If you don't believe me, look it up and see the one common denominator in all of the cases is insanity. In Hill's case, he was diagnosed with being bi-polar, schizophrenic, had ADD and other unnamed illnesses. He had recently stopped taking his medication with predictable results. When are we going to realize that as long as we let people like this walk among us unrestricted, no matter of gun control is going to protect us. This guy threatened to shoot his brother and burned his parent's house down but he's fine to walk around unsupervised. Incredible. And people bitch about pit bulls when this is much more dangerous.

Oddly, part of the problem may be the Republicans desire to throw more and more of us to the wolves as one of the reasons given why he stopped taking his medication was his Medicaid had run out. Georgia has been throwing more and more people off of Medicaid roles and now a school full of kids almost paid the ultimate price. Elections have consequences and anyone voting for the GOP down there, almost voted to kill their children. Keep up the good work because this WILL happen again.

Anyone with this level of mental illness needs to be under constant supervision and even commitment. We better figure out a way to pay for all this because the alternative is a classroom full of dead kids. Your choice.

Lastly, I want to talk about the three bored teens James Francis Edwards Jr, 15 and  Chancey Allen Luna, 16 who were charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday. Police say the two killed Christopher Lane, 22 on Friday. Michael Dewayne Jones, 17, was charged with being an accessory after the fact and with using a vehicle during the discharge of weapon. Apparently, the three belonged to a "wannabe" gang which they said was an offshoot of the Crips, but had no real connection with the violent LA street gang. They were caught so quick because they threatened to kill another 17 year old if he didn't join their gang who immediately went to the police. Some have suggested the killing was part of a gang initiation, something rumored to be what the Crips do so that's not that much of a stretch.

The two black defendants' Twitter accounts are filled with racist rants against white people, which is odd as the driver is white. This case has ALL the earmarks of a hate crime but there is little chance of that being used as it is only apparent in the rare white on black violence cases but never the reverse. The stupid part is that if you look at the statistics you are much more likely to see black people attacking white people because of their skin color than the reverse, yet the media never sees it that way. The odd man out case of racism of white on black violence gets all the press, while stories like this seem to fall by the way side. Black people are more racist than white people nowadays and the stats prove it. Stop teaching hate for God's sake, black people. You do know there are more of us than you right?

The fact that these two had a gun is also a cause for concern. Where did three gangster wannabes (just like Trayvon Martin) get a 22 and shotgun? They certainly didn't go and buy one. If their parents gave them one, then they should be charged as well as accessory after the fact. The same goes for Hill who somehow got an AK-47 which still isn't clear if he borrowed or stole it. Either way, the owner should face some sort of charges as well. This is how to affect gun control without taking away everyone's rights. If someone does something stupid with a gun, and you are at fault, you are going to jail too. Period.

The long and the short of it is there is a lot of stupid people out there and everytime something happens, they kneejerk toward the obvious without looking deeper as to what really might be going on. Regular readers know more than these idiots so take pride in that. But if we continue down this road, it won't make much difference.
