THE GOP, JAMES HOLMES CONSPIRACY THEORIES, JOE APRAIO AND OTHER SIGNS OF MASS STUPIDITY

For a brief period in my past, I sold health and life insurance. If you ever want to hate mankind as much as I did, try selling that product. 99% of America has no idea how health insurance works and are woefully unprepared for a catastrophic injury or sickness. These are same retards standing outside of Congress demanding an end to Obamacare, which while far from perfect, is a step in the right direction. If you get really sick in this country, insurance or not, your going to lose everything. Things like your house, your car, your savings and your sanity are all going to go bye bye. If you get cancer, chances are you will amass at least $56 thousand in debt by the time it's all over, and that's after insurance pay outs. Do you have an extra $56 thousand lying around because I sure don't.



Our health care still sucks and until we get a single payer plan nothing is going to change. For all those horror stories you hear about nationalized heath care abroad, we finish dead last in cost, benefits and age longevity in every Western nation. Say what you want about Canada or England but no one goes broke from getting cancer there, costs are lower and the people have a longer life span. Not so here. I think I found the main cause for some of this stupidity: The Republican Party.



First off they have demonized Obamacare to such a point I keep waiting for them to say demons will get you and puppies will die if Obamacare is allowed to survive much longer. This was not to save us from a bad plan but to make Obama look bad. What kind of signal are we sending our kids when we put partisanship over the fate of the country?



And who are these stalwarts of reason that people are putting their faith in? We have Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity who are so brain dead they could almost qualify as zombies. Both have recently claimed that the new Batman movie had the bad guy named Bane because of Mitt Romney. Right. Michelle Bachman, using a six degrees of Kevin Bacon logic, accused Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minn) and Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, both Muslim-Americans, of ties to radical Islamic groups without a shred of evidence. And then there's Sheriff Joe Apraio's idiotic accusations about the President's birth certificate. Are any of the platforms involving reason or logic? HELL NO!

According to the platform of the 2012 Republican Party of Texas,  which also has one of the worst school systems in the country, wrote this recently:

“We oppose the teaching of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) (values clarification), critical thinking skills and similar programs that are simply a relabeling of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) (mastery learning) which focus on behavior modification and have the purpose of challenging the student’s fixed beliefs and undermining parental authority.”

Read that again and think about what was being said. It says, we don't want you to think about anything and simply accept what we tell you is true. Don't undermine your parents. Don't question the State. Don't ask about religion. Obey. The GOP is officially thumbing their nose at reason and logic and the people they have in office are preaching to the choir with their idiotic nonsense. The House today killed two bills to fix the Post Office and a much needed farm bill just because it would have make Obama look good had they passed. Where was the reason and logic there? Right out the window apparently.Yet Rush Limbaugh and Hannity gets millions of people watching and listening to their idiocy, Bachmann gets elected somehow and Joe Apraio still has a badge. Frightening.



It is from this level of non-critical thinking that the crazies have come out claiming MK-ULTRA ties to James Holmes, aka "The Joker" and multiple gunman. First, he had only been in Colorado a short time so unless he was being brainwashed in San Diego, that tidbit is worthless. And there were no other gunman, just a lone crazy shooting people up in the theater. The fact that it was another mass shooting in Colorado, AGAIN, is the odd part although in this case, most likely, coincidence. The new Denver Airport has been a rumored Illumanti/NWO/Aliens/Reptoid from Dimension X base. There has been a lot of construction still going on, weird murals on the walls, a capstone dedicated to the NWO and a demonic looking horse statue outside so I can understand why people may fixate on Colorado. This has been the scene of several mass shootings, the most famous until now being Columbine, the Jon Benet Ramsey Case and home to the Supermax prison.







People always try to make things bigger than they are. It's never just a lone man but a vast, impossible conspiracy. In order for Obama's birth certificate to be fake, tens of thousands of people would have to be in on it. Otherwise, people who handle those documents every day would know it's a fake. And not one, NOT ONE, (at least not with any credibility) has come forward to say it is. If Obama brought that to any DMV, he'd get a license. On the flip side, there are those who say the same thing about the Kennedy Assassination or 9/11 which would both require far fewer people and a true reason to be quiet about it as death is never in anyone playbook and would be the end result for any squealer. With both, as few as a handful of people may have have known what was really going on with others being used as pawns and surrogates.



Stupidity is rampant today as the US is fed a steady diet of fast food, crappy movies and TV and horrifically bad books like Twilight and anything written by a reality star. If Snookie's book is on your nightstand right now, kill yourself. Please. No one is thinking about anything right now and critical thinking is all but dead. As a Master of Logic, I look down on these poor fools trying to make two plus two equals five, reading the Bible as fact, and not being able to name the current Vice President as the end of the world. No one even votes anymore. In the last mayoral race in New York City, only 500,000 voted out of 8 million. And then we wonder why nothing get better. This is what we've asked for. Enjoy.

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: JAMES HOLMES AKA "THE JOKER"

Was there really any question who this week's douchebag would be? Let's see those runner ups.



1)Staff Sgt. Luis Walker- This former Air Force instructor at Lakeland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas was found guilty on seven counts of sexual assault. The worst part about this isn't that he's a lowlife dirtbag who should be hung from the closest yard arm, but that this was the norm at the base. Twelve other instructors are also being investigated for similar charges making this the largest sex scandal in US military history. Six have been charged, although to be honest as a few of them are being looked at for adultery which, let's face it, is not in the same level of evil as rape, some of these guys are going to face far less severe penalties. Staff Sgt. Craig LeBlanc is also being charged with rape and will face similar consequences as Walker, who may be looking at life in Leavenworth. Dick.

The real problem here is the militaries reluctance to look into ANY case of rape accusations. And while I find that disgraceful as the "male first" attitude has got to be eliminated from a diverse society, I am equally torn by anyone being convicted by the word of just one person. I know personally how devastating that can be when, as a teen, I was accused of multiple counts of breaking and entering, for which I was completely innocent. The sole evidence they had was a former friend who, at the time, had been committed to a mental institution by his parents. The police fabricated evidence to get me and harassed witnesses to such a point that lawsuits were threatened against the Glastonbury, CT police department. Years later, I was vindicated, the prosecutor was disbarred and the investigating officer fired. But I still had to have my parents spend tons of money on a worthless case. No one should ever be convicted, let alone arrested, on the word of just one person, especially if that witness is totally unreliable. Look how that worked out for the Duke rape case or the rape accusations against the IMF banker, Straus Khan, in New York. This may mean that some women may get raped and the police may not be able to do anything about it. The solution to that is don't be a victim. Don't get drunk with strange men. Learn self defense. And report any rape to the police because if two people come forward to accuse another man, he's screwed then.



The other problem is women in the military. Before you all start calling me a misogynistic bastard, let me explain. I have grown up my whole life around military personnel and one thing they all share is a gung ho attitude and this may not exactly translate well into a co-ed situation. The best solution would be segregation, especially during training, and a total ban on women in hostile situations. I am SO against women in combat for a lot of reasons, the biggest being it is a detriment to men fighting off instincts of sex, protection and self preservation. Put men and women in close quarters during combat and there are going to be tons of problems. Rape, even during training, seems to be pervasive and on going. It has to stop.


2)Penn State and Joe Paterno- Joe Paterno was such a cherished member of Penn State he got his own bronze statue. After the sex scandal that rocked the college, his statue was removed yesterday due to howls of protests from angry groups, pissed that he had known about Sandusky's fondling of small boys for years and did nothing to stop it. The best thing to ever happen to Paterno was his sudden death which was a blessing in disguise. Had he lived, he would have witnessed his reputation shattered and his statue destroyed. This case may get some more press but, more likely, expect it to get buried like every other child sex case involving powerful people gets.



3)HSBC- Another banking story getting very little press is the recent indictments in a Senate report of money laundering by international bank HSBC. This is the same bank that moved the $15 trillion dollars to the Royal Bank of Scotland. We still have no idea where this money came from but this new report certainly shows some new light on the subject. This is the same crap done during the BCCI scandal of the nineties. Nice to see nothing has changed. HSBC may have laundered money from drug cartels, Al Queda, even Iran. Where are the arrests for this major crime?



4)The Middle East- With all the nations in the area set on broil, the whole place may soon explode. Thanks to a bus bombing in Bulgaria, with Hezbollah and Iran being named as culprits, Israel is on eggshells. Syria is also stepping up attacks after a bombing took out members of their high command which also has Israel concerned about WMD's falling into terrorist hands. Israel has threatened to retaliate massively if any of those weapons are used against them. Rumors of chemical weapons being placed around the country has the world understandably concerned. And a special shout out to Sweden, which failed to prosecute the suicide bomber after he was deported there from Gitmo TWICE. Way to keep the world safe assholes.



5)The Olympics security system- Contrary to what is being reported, the security by company G4S appears to be total crap. This is how modern day capitalism works. Millions are given to a company, the owners, in order to maximize profits, hires the cheapest labor they can find, usually consisting of people with barely a brain cell among them and then the chaos begins. Whistleblowers are talking about personnel that can barely speak English, little training, and a total lack of enough people for the job. The owner was dragged in front of Parliament the other day and grilled by the lords there as to how this could have happened. Word is that a major attack is being planned for the Olympics and this company seems to be the last group of misfits I would want protecting me.



6)MSM- After the Colorado theater attacks, the left and right went immediately into blaming the left or right for this disaster. ABC news reported a fishy Tea Party connection which they almost immediately retracted while the right, led by fat, blowhard Rush Limbaugh, among others, about questionable evidence he was a registered democrat because some guy from Colorado had the same name. Yeah, there is only one James Holmes in all of the state. Please. The guy was a nutter.



7)Anti-depressants- If you look at the medical records of any mass shooter they all have the same thing in common: pills. Recent evidence suggests these drugs may do more harm than good and considering the sheer number of shooters on things like Prosac, maybe we should be reconsidering their use and stop the drug companies from behaving no better than a street pusher.



8)Anti gun fanatics- As expected, the anti gun lobby went in to overdrive calling for more gun laws. Nevermind the fact that all evidence points to the fact that a heavily armed society is a safer one, let the facts be damned. This is one of the few ways that liberals resemble the Tea Party in their idiotic drive to ignore hard facts about how gun laws cause more crime not less. The one gun I wouldn't mind seeing banned is the AR-15. This has nothing to do with it being an automatic weapon, which I think every American should have in their house, but with the reality that this was, is and ever shall be, a shitty gun that jams all the time. It did this weekend to Holmes, saving a lot of people's lives, but it also does it on the battlefield with shocking regularity causing untold casualties to our troops. The AK-47 is a far superior weapon.




9)James Holmes- The Joker struck the new Batman movie this past Friday in what can only be described at the strangest story I have seen in some time. I guy dressed in battle armor shot 12 people to death and injured 58 others, 26 still in the hospital. He had dyed his hair red, and was wearing a red suit underneath the armor, I guess to appear more jokerish, although purple would have been the correct color, dumb ass. Here's the strange part. He gave himself up without incident, told the police about the bombs through out his apartment, but is acting like a total loon behind bars according to reports with a lot of spitting at guards. Yuck. So he's lucid enough to stop the killing spree and tell cops about explosives, but not sane enough to act like a rational human being. What gives? Who is this guy? Contrary to previous articles, Holmes was working with grant money from the university, meaning he probably had plenty of money to spend on his expensive outfit and weapons with cash left over to spare. The conspiracy theories have already begun, none of which really hold any weight. This guy was nuts. N U T S. NUTS. There was no second gunner (we hear that everytime from eyewitnesses who are the least dependable evidenced at any crime scene), he had plenty of money to buy equipment and this is not some government plan to get rid of guns, although don't be surprised as anti gun groups use this tragedy to exploit their own misguided ways. So congratulation James Holmes, you are indeed douchebag of the week. PRICK.

"JOKER" SHOOTS UP COLORADO MOVIE THEATER SHOWING NEW BATMAN FILM. LET THE POLITICAL GRANDSTANDING BEGIN.

Last night at the midnight showing for the new Batman movie, "Dark Night Rises," a man dressed as the Joker shot up the theater killing at least twelve. James Holmes, a PhD candidate in neuroscience donned a Joker outfit and started a spree killing. He gave himself up without incident which makes me think he wanted fame at any cost in our celebrity worshipping country. Almost immediately, the networks starting making grand predictions, none of which will be right because they NEVER are. The Conservative sites, like Drudge Report and Breitbart, immediately jumped on the possibility the nutbag is a registered democrat due to highly suspect info. Likewise, ABC news reported a Tea Party connection which they retracted soon afterward. It really doesn't matter which party he follows as HE'S INSANE. We saw the same garbage being thrown at the attempted assassination of Gabby Giffords as to what political views the would be assassin had. Turns out, the guy was nuts, as seen by his smiling mug shot and eyes that said HELTER SKELTER.



And, just like clockwork, the anti gun nuts come out screaming about gun control. Mayor Bloomberg stated he was posting police into further showings in New York to prevent copy cats while at the same time calling for more gun control because that would have solved everything. Right. I hold the opposite position that everyone should be armed. More guns equal less crime as seen in countries like Israel and Switzerland where the crime rate for violent crimes against strangers and burglary is close to zero. Why? Almost every house has an AK-47 in it. No one screws with anyone when you have  heavily armed public. Had someone been carrying a gun in the theater (and to be clear I have no idea what Colorado's concealed gun policy is, but here in the North East, it's akin to applying for a baby eating licence), there is no way all those people would have died.



Like that big story about another spree killing in Salt Lake City in April. You all remember that right? You don't? Oh that's right, he got stopped after stabbing two people by an armed civilian who stopped the madman from continuing. You would think that would get more news coverage outside the Salt Lake area but no nothing from a true liberal bias that most MSM does indeed suffer from. I find most attacks on the "liberal media" ridiculous as no such entity exists and I would know as I have worked in all aspects of the entertainment industry at one point or another. As a former news reporter for Stonebridge Press and an editor for a CBS news affiliate I can tell you that yes, most reporters have a liberal bias. However, the editors and owners certainly don't as in every instance the higher ups were staunch Republicans. But in cases of gun control, this one does get more airplay than I think it deserves and the opposite where guns save lives never show up anywhere.



Is life imitating art? If it is, this movie may be more destructive than anybody thinks. I haven't seen it yet and will report more on the subversive aspects of it and how they are presented, but what I know is Bane is going after the elites of Gotham in a very violent way. While Holmes is indeed a huge nutbag, others may see this film and decide Bane is right. The sad part is a lot of us may end up sympathizing with Bane as the world elites are indeed sending us down a destructive path for which violence may be the ultimate end. Let me be clear again that I do not condone violence until absolutely necessary and we are far from that at the moment. If something like a UN gun confiscation plan actually happens, then all bets are off.



When I first started with Stonebridge Press, one of the first film reviews I did was for "V for Vendetta." I called it one of the most subversive movies ever and that it would spark a world wide revolution with its ideas. People ridiculed me for that. Watch any protest anywhere on earth and the Guy Fawkes mask will be worn by hundreds, so there. The hacker group, Anonymous, much like myself, have adopted that mask as our symbol for protest and that film is still one of my favorites of all time.




The film is telling you about all sorts of secrets if you watch it closely enough. One of the biggest is the 9/11 allegory tied to the terrorist attack on St. Mary's in the film and the line "there is no such thing as coincidence." Study the events of 9/11 as reported by the government and keep telling yourself that line and watch the disbelief begin. There are too many coincidences with that day to be within the realm of chance yet here we are more than a decade later still believing a fairy tale. The Wachowski's other great film "The Matrix," is equally subversive about not accepting the reality our leaders keep framing for us.



So if the Joker is real, where is out Batman? Where is our rich elitist who will don the cape and stop crime where ever it occurs? I'd settle for one who starts calling on his rich douchebag friends to stop stealing all the money on the planet and give some back to us. The elites should be worried as a true Bain character is not out of the real possibility that someone may be inspired by him to start shooting rich people. I'd almost, ALMOST, like to see that. Especially if their name rhymes with smoke, tush, banter, or shimbaugh.

IRAN/SYRIA WAR LOOMS. WILL THERE BE A TERRORIST ATTACK AT THE OLYMPICS? WILL IT BE REAL?

The Middle East has devolved dramatically the last few days as bombings have shaken the Syrian High Command while at the same time terrorists have blown up a bus full of Israeli citizens in Bulgaria. Tensions have become understandably high and with the Olympics a few days away, a real or false flag operation is a distinct possibility.

Syria is spiraling out of control and a recent vote on more sanctions on Syria in the UN have fallen on deaf ears as traditional stalwarts China and Russia have vetoed them. You guys are hell bent on ending this world aren't you? Russia I expect this from but I always thought China was smarter than this. Apparently not.



Assad has fled the capital as rebels are now operating with impunity there. He is now in Latakia, a coastal town the leader still has control of, a rapidly dwindling number. Jordan has expressed dismay that chemical weapons within the county may fall into terrorist hands, ones that may even be used to bring down the Jordanian monarchy, let alone US or Israeli troops. Considering that rebels managed to bomb a high level meeting of the Syrian military killing several, the end of the regime seems inevitable at this point. What actions a dying society will command are anybodies guess.



Meanwhile, a suicide bomber has blown himself up inside a bus filled with Israeli citizens in Bulgaria yesterday. Israel has hinted at a serious response, but that may be nothing more than bluster as we have heard that before from just about every previous PM as well as the current one. So far the best they do is go the end of their chain and bark. Not exactly the position of strength Israel used to command after being successfully neutered by US policies. We keep hearing how beholden the US is to Israel but the reality is the exact opposite. No Israeli action has been taken for the past few decades without US involvement. The disastrous Lebanon skirmish of 2006 is proof of that. That war was followed as if George Bush himself was running the show. Bomb a few positions, claim victory and go home without accomplishing anything, otherwise known as the Bush Doctrine.



Hezbollah has been the most likely culprit with aid from Iran. Their leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has thumbed his nose at any retaliation, reminding the world the group possess serious weaponry, such as the C-802 shore-to-ship missile fired from the Lebanese coast which was used to cripple the INS Hanit missile ship exactly six years ago. I doubt the date is coincidence. "We know what your [Israel’s] first strike will be and we promise you a big surprise," Nasrallah commented.



With the Olympics a week away and the security apparatus there filled with holes, a terror attack there is not out of the question. Will it be real or a false flag is another question? 9/11 and the London subways bombings both had evidence that the situation did not play out like they reported including BOTH having live drills the day of the attack. What this means is either it was inside job or terrorists have infiltrated the highest levels of government here and abroad. Which do you think is more likely?

There are real bad guys out there, while some sights like What Really Happened (an excellent site for the most part), always suggest a false flag for EVERY instance. This bus bombing in Bulgaria is no different and hails all the earmarks of a real attack. False flags are always bigger than this small time action taken by a deranged religious fanatic.

Israel will not sit by forever though. This latest attack will get some strong words form Israeli leaders but little else. War does loom as economic issues may force our hand. Recent economic info shows a rise in joblessness, foreclosures and food prices. Home sales are dropping and the MSM still ignores the LIBOR scandal, which contrary to what the GOP would have you believe, is the main reason for the economic collapse we are witnessing.



When is the American public going to get off their increasingly fat asses and demand change? Instead we have Sheriff Joe acting like the redneck hick he is by throwing out the old "Obama is a foreigner" bullshit that was destroyed years ago. Trust me, if there was any evidence that this was true, I'd expose it here. But not one thing the birthers have said is in any way true, especially the crap about Obama's SS number which he and I share a common bond. My SS number is from CT too even though I wasn't born there or even lived until I was five. My sister's is from NJ and we never lived there. It all matters where the SS number was processed, not where you live. Back then, before electricity or dinosaurs, you did not get a SS number at birth but petitioned the government for it at some point during your kids life. And you did not need to go in person but did the whole things by mail. Enough already. Obama was born in Hawaii. And the fact the Sheriff Joe was going on trial today for racial profiling charges has nothing to do with his idiotic search for the "real" records (roll eyes and sigh here).



The world looks doomed as war and economic collapse are racing to which will come first. Prepare people because sometime soon the juggling act the government is doing will come to a crashing halt. Could it happen during the Olympics? Definitely. Four billion people, more than half the Earth will be watching next Friday. A bigger audience could not be asked for. If the security is as lax as whistleblowers are saying, the Opening Ceremonies could also be a pretext for war when some "lone" bomber gets through. Whether is will be a real attack or a false flag is anyone guess.

FIVE STEPS TO FIX OUR FAILING ECONOMY: NOT GIVING ALL OUR MONEY TO THE ONE PERCENT A GOOD START

For all the people crying and whining out there about having to pay an exorbitant amount in taxes like Mitt Romney, the Koch Brothers and just about every Republican member of Congress, let me start off by saying "SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!" Yes, you pay a whopping fifteen percent at best and that's still too much as now you can't afford that gold plated toilet you ordered. Oh, the humanity. Meanwhile the rest of us live of of breadcrumbs you throw at us while we grovel to keep out jobs as you can fire us for no reason at all. How is that the American way? It isn't and it has to stop or else everything is going to come tumbling down. Let's look at ways to stop this nonsense.



STEP ONE: Get money out of politics. We as a people have to stand up and in one loud voice and say this nonsense has to stop. And for all the Tories out there, like Rush Limbaugh, that shout down our ideas, we need to be even louder. Anyone voting Republican should be shunned across the board. If your friends are voting for dumbasses, explain to them why they are stupid motherfuckers and if they can't defend their positions, which they won't, berate them for being the dumbasses they are. No more civility between these ideas. Plato once wrote that the only way to make some people see reason is to literally beat them over the head with the truth, to drag them into the light of reason so to speak. This one way tolerance bull shit has got to end. I will debate anyone any any topic and I haven't lost in years. The reason for that isn't my high intellect, which I do possess (IQ 183), but my grasp of logical principles which eventually leads anyone arguing with me into a dead end street from which there is no logical way out.



Money is the root of all evil and especially, thanks to Citizen's United, dangerous in today's political world. The idiot republicans in Congress, including lapdog Scott Brown, recently voted to kill the Disclose Act which have made it law to tell people what morons are producing and financing SuperPacs. As the GOP uses these commercials to spread the worst lies and hide behind a veil of anonymity, color me not surprised. Fuck Scott Brown and any fool voting for him.

We need a set amount given to each candidate, so money is no longer a factor and end the failed SuperPac experiment. Removing money, removes corporate interests and levels the playing field once more for the average Joe.

STEP TWO-  Nationalize a country wide union. This will give everyone making over a million a year a pay cut and use that money to raise salaries for the middle class which hasn't gotten a raise in over forty years. We have way too much money at the top and not nearly enough for the the other 99% of us. CEO salaries have risen 3000 times larger than the average man. They've made millions while we starve and then they tell us it's our fault because we had to use credit to get by as our salaries were not keeping up with inflation. If more people had more money to pay taxes because of higher salaries, the world wouldn't be broke as we are. This is common sense ideas that neither party is discussing, and neither is the world. Shocker.



The average salary at this point should be about $80,000 a year. It's not even half that anymore. Yet we have people bitching about government workers who are making that because their unions have protected their salaries in accordance with inflation. If we had a national union, which other countries do, this type of theft would not be occurring and we would not be in the financial trouble we are in today. We are not broke because we spent to much on poor people, or that unions demanded too much (although in some cases that was true it was not a major factor in the US decline), even though this is all we here about why the Euro is in so much trouble. The Euro didn't begin it's collapse because of socialism, it is dying for the same reason as here: rich people are stealing all of the money and blaming us for the theft.



The LIBOR scandal, which Media Matters noticed that ABC and NBC devoted zero coverage of so far, shows that the elites betting on a rigged system. If you knew, absolutely KNEW, that a horse race tomorrow would have a specific winner and you found out about it ahead of time, you'd bet the farm on it. That is exactly what the banks are doing. They are using the derivative market to game the system as they knew for years which way the interest rate was going to go and could bet everything on a sure winner, thus the hundred trillion dollar derivative market. The banks are letting billions ride on sure winners while the rest of us have no hope of duplicating their wins. As the market is no longer based on market forces but manipulation the average investor will ultimately lose everything. The house always wins here and the elites own the casino.

STEP THREE-  Prosecute the banks for that theft and put in jail anyone connected with it. Start putting a few rich people in Rikers and watch the changes start happening.



STEP FOUR-Debt forgiveness- Anyone making under $100,000 a year can have a portion of their debt wiped clean say up to $25,000. This can be used for mortgages, credit card debt or other types of loans. The money will be taken from a special fund taken from large banks who defrauded the system as well as asset forfeitures from the richie riches who helped make it happen. The remaining banks that are left will see a windfall as people use this money to pay off their debt, foreclosures will come to and end, and savings increase, a win win win situation.



STEP FIVE-Eliminate stock holdings for anyone holding a high level government office and end the revolving door or government/corporate interests. The too cozy relationship between business and government has to end. Anyone serving in Congress, the Supreme Court or in the White House needs to get rid of all stock holdings for themselves and their wives. There is way too much inside trading going to allow this anymore. Also add anyone working for the government CANNOT work for any firm with government dealings for at least two years after leaving office. And No "consulting" or other ways around it either. Go back to your house and write your memoirs.



These are just a few common sense ways to fix America and the world. More on this later with other ways to fix things that our politicians are not talking about.



In one other story Joe Apraio is still at the birther nonsense claiming proof of fraud. Looked at his evidence and still don't get what he is talking about as some of his "proof" has already been debunked. This guy's a loon.

THE LIBOR SCANDAL, MITT ROMNEY'S VP PICK AND OTHER DISASTERS WAITING TO HAPPEN

It was not a good week for Mitt Romney or Barack Obama this week. Mitt wins by a nose however as he seems incapable of answering the simplest question without looking shady and evasive. Last Friday, Romney finally went on all the major networks at answer questions for which he seemed woefully unprepared. Everytime a reporter asked Mitt about his alternative health care plan in his ill advised "repeal and replace" nonsense, he said that was something to worry about AFTER he was elected President. He gave the same response with the economy, job growth and every other question aimed at him. It's like he has no positions on anything (roll eyes and sigh here as that is exactly what kind of man Romney is). Hate to break it to you douche but if you don't start spelling out concrete plans to fix the economy, health care and job creation, Obama is going to win in a landslide. No one is going to buy a car sight unseen as you are asking the American people to do.



Then comes a major Achilles heel for Romney: Bain Capital. According to Romney, he left Bain Capital in 1999 and had no major dealings with them afterward. Unfortunately, his name appears on SEC fillings that showed he was still CEO until at least 2001. This is serious as felony charges could be leveled against him if he filed a false return or he can fess up and say he was indeed CEO until 2001 and yes, outsourcing did occur under his watch. It's lose, lose at this point and this scandal isn't going to go away so easy. Plus, Mother Jones reported yesterday that Romney had dealings with a Chinese company when he was CEO in 1998 and 1999 which outsourced ten of thousands of jobs overseas, so he doesn't really have a leg to stand on anyway.



Word is that Romney has picked a VP and it is highly unlikely that Condoleezza Rice will be that pick. As she is pro-choice and pro gay marriage, this ticket would be tough sell for the American Taliban and the Teatards to swallow so that notion seems really farfetched at best. Conventional wisdom narrows the field to three most likely candidates, Rob Portman of Ohio, Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, and the most likely, Tim Pawlenty, a man so white bread, Romney looks hip standing next to him. It would be a safe, vanilla choice that will add little to the ticket but won't damage him like Sarah Palin did to John McCain four years ago. Romney has a uphill battle at this point as Bain Capital may be an albatross around his neck and with his inability to defuse any situation, this scandal isn't going away any time soon.



Speaking of scandals, we now have word Geitner knew about the LIBOR price fixing in 2008 and made "attempts" to fix the problem. It also revealed that the banks made recommendations on how to fix the problem to Geitner which of course, solved nothing. Self regulation DOES NOT WORK. How many times do we have to get burned in this scam for Washington to realize that this is exactly the right way to destroy a civilization? Government makes the rules for corporations, not vice verse unless setting up a new Nazi regime is what your end game is, and let's not rule that out, as a fascist state is where we are headed.



What happened in the LIBOR scandal is clear: the government saw a problem, asked the banks how they would like to fix it, they gave the government a few bones to waive them off, and nothing changed. Problem solved everyone. We can all go home now. The corporations have decided that the little people matter more than money and none of that actually happened of course. Corporations stole billions from us, demanded tax payer money to cover their loses, and pointed fingers at each other when they got caught.



US regulators and the MSM have ignored the problem as meaningless while across the pond, the British press and government are up in arms about it. As the US has a "well everyone was doing it" mentality, no one is being held accountable for it. WTF? Can we please have just one politician who will stand up and decry this nonsense. We actually do and her name is Elizabeth Warren, so anyone living in MA better be voting for her over GOP lapdog Scott Brown unless total economic collapse is what you want because you better believe that if the GOP gets control of all branches of government again, it will be financial Armageddon by 2013.



US banks were involved just like Barclay's, HSBC and RBS and for this someone's head better roll because we out here in cyberspace are getting a little pissed that we keep bailing out banks in the worst socialistic experiment ever. Socialism is not take from the poor so the rich may have more. That gravy train has ended and any politician trying that scenario again will not survive the vote come November on either side of the political aisle.



There is also word that, much like the LIBOR rate, oil prices may also have been fixes. Wow, how not shocked am I over that piece of info. Much like the world elite, who tell us how much money they have, businesses have a reason to underreport their assets as it means how much they have to pay, or hide from paying, in taxes. If the oil price can be manipulated upward or down, a person can make a fortune on the derivative market, if I know for sure which way the needle will swing. The British are looking into this along with the LIBOR scandal, two things you will not hear on the nightly news on any channel tonight. What we have are banks able manipulate rates as there is no regulatory actions to oversee them. The SEC and FED are a revolving door of ex-bankers so good luck with that. Plus, they have no real reason to report the correct numbers on any commodities trade, meaning billions could be trading hands and no one has any knowledge of it.

 

This kind of crap has to stop and pronto because the coming Depression we are all facing may knock civilization out as we know it, according to many major economists now. We are facing a bleak prospect of either anarchy or a police state, neither of which sounds appealing with anarchy the most likely scenario, as many a soldier has already told me they will go AWOL if society starts to go belly up and protect their family and not the elite. Time is running out and voting for GOP candidates is a sure fire to end American. The Democrats may not be much better, but there are more reasonable members on the blue side than the red. Once we get rid of the morons, we can start demanding the Democrats start listening to us too or else they go next. It really is our only hope at this point.
