The Middle East has devolved dramatically the last few days as bombings have shaken the Syrian High Command while at the same time terrorists have blown up a bus full of Israeli citizens in Bulgaria. Tensions have become understandably high and with the Olympics a few days away, a real or false flag operation is a distinct possibility.
Syria is spiraling out of control and a recent vote on more sanctions on Syria in the UN have fallen on deaf ears as traditional stalwarts China and Russia have vetoed them. You guys are hell bent on ending this world aren't you? Russia I expect this from but I always thought China was smarter than this. Apparently not.
Assad has fled the capital as rebels are now operating with impunity there. He is now in Latakia, a coastal town the leader still has control of, a rapidly dwindling number. Jordan has expressed dismay that chemical weapons within the county may fall into terrorist hands, ones that may even be used to bring down the Jordanian monarchy, let alone US or Israeli troops. Considering that rebels managed to bomb a high level meeting of the Syrian military killing several, the end of the regime seems inevitable at this point. What actions a dying society will command are anybodies guess.
Meanwhile, a suicide bomber has blown himself up inside a bus filled with Israeli citizens in Bulgaria yesterday. Israel has hinted at a serious response, but that may be nothing more than bluster as we have heard that before from just about every previous PM as well as the current one. So far the best they do is go the end of their chain and bark. Not exactly the position of strength Israel used to command after being successfully neutered by US policies. We keep hearing how beholden the US is to Israel but the reality is the exact opposite. No Israeli action has been taken for the past few decades without US involvement. The disastrous Lebanon skirmish of 2006 is proof of that. That war was followed as if George Bush himself was running the show. Bomb a few positions, claim victory and go home without accomplishing anything, otherwise known as the Bush Doctrine.
Hezbollah has been the most likely culprit with aid from Iran. Their leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has thumbed his nose at any retaliation, reminding the world the group possess serious weaponry, such as the C-802 shore-to-ship missile fired from the Lebanese coast which was used to cripple the INS Hanit missile ship exactly six years ago. I doubt the date is coincidence. "We know what your [Israel’s] first strike will be and we promise you a big surprise," Nasrallah commented.
With the Olympics a week away and the security apparatus there filled with holes, a terror attack there is not out of the question. Will it be real or a false flag is another question? 9/11 and the London subways bombings both had evidence that the situation did not play out like they reported including BOTH having live drills the day of the attack. What this means is either it was inside job or terrorists have infiltrated the highest levels of government here and abroad. Which do you think is more likely?
There are real bad guys out there, while some sights like What Really Happened (an excellent site for the most part), always suggest a false flag for EVERY instance. This bus bombing in Bulgaria is no different and hails all the earmarks of a real attack. False flags are always bigger than this small time action taken by a deranged religious fanatic.
Israel will not sit by forever though. This latest attack will get some strong words form Israeli leaders but little else. War does loom as economic issues may force our hand. Recent economic info shows a rise in joblessness, foreclosures and food prices. Home sales are dropping and the MSM still ignores the LIBOR scandal, which contrary to what the GOP would have you believe, is the main reason for the economic collapse we are witnessing.
When is the American public going to get off their increasingly fat asses and demand change? Instead we have Sheriff Joe acting like the redneck hick he is by throwing out the old "Obama is a foreigner" bullshit that was destroyed years ago. Trust me, if there was any evidence that this was true, I'd expose it here. But not one thing the birthers have said is in any way true, especially the crap about Obama's SS number which he and I share a common bond. My SS number is from CT too even though I wasn't born there or even lived until I was five. My sister's is from NJ and we never lived there. It all matters where the SS number was processed, not where you live. Back then, before electricity or dinosaurs, you did not get a SS number at birth but petitioned the government for it at some point during your kids life. And you did not need to go in person but did the whole things by mail. Enough already. Obama was born in Hawaii. And the fact the Sheriff Joe was going on trial today for racial profiling charges has nothing to do with his idiotic search for the "real" records (roll eyes and sigh here).
The world looks doomed as war and economic collapse are racing to which will come first. Prepare people because sometime soon the juggling act the government is doing will come to a crashing halt. Could it happen during the Olympics? Definitely. Four billion people, more than half the Earth will be watching next Friday. A bigger audience could not be asked for. If the security is as lax as whistleblowers are saying, the Opening Ceremonies could also be a pretext for war when some "lone" bomber gets through. Whether is will be a real attack or a false flag is anyone guess.
