SIGNS OF A DYING SOCIETY: THE UNITED STATES

This past week alone has shown a downward trend that shows no signs of abating. A TSA out of control, a nationwide police force expressing Gestapo tactics, a government grabbing more and more power, and an idiot public not caring. Sad.

First let's talk about the non stop parade of Trayvon Martin that is now pushing race relations to an all time low. If race wars were what you wanted, they are coming at this rate. In the past week, a woman in Texas ran over two black youths with her car and somehow wasn't even charged with a crime, even though the racial slurs she used certainly constituted a hate crime. In Toledo, Ohio six black kids beat a 78 year old Vietnam vet because he was white. And any crime that involves a black man lately causes screams of racism whether there existed any or not. Tyler Perry was pulled over for a legitimate reason, got bullied by cops and said it was because he was black. As someone whiter than white, let me tell you race isn't always a factor when it comes to police. A lot of them are just dicks. Two of my super white roommates were beaten within an inch of their lives by a cop for doing nothing more than walking down the street. Ironically, the former police officer I worked for at the time knew this guy and was one of the reasons he left the force.

Read any message board, black or white oriented, and look in terror at the level of racism there. Race relations are plummeting and we both share the blame. White America, particularly the Teatards and American Taliban, has decided that the black population of this country doesn't matter and have done their best to destroy any help they may get through social government programs. Black America has given up on raising their kids, mostly due to the out of whack levels of single moms compared to every other race including Hispanic, and the worship of thug life that permeates almost every level of their culture. This is a recipe for disaster and one that does not bode well for Black America. With only 11% of the population, this attitude will not endear them to the majority and guarantees a steady slide into further despairingly situations. Black America is already the most heavily jailed race in the country, partly a self inflicting wound as gangsters are the new heroes. In a way, I can hardly blame them. Who wants to work a dead end job with no hope of getting out of poverty when I can deal drugs and make a fortune? Unfortunately, only a select few get that far with all the others dead or in jail. That is the truth of living in the ghetto and I at least have had the privilege of working with inner city people who have been trying to better their lives.

With all the unrest, the government seems to be taking a serious intrest in it. DHS has ordered 450 million hollow point bullets. The odd thing about this huge order is that hollow point bullets are forbidden by the Geneva Convention and makes us question why they need so much illegal ammo. On top of that is the order by the US Forestry Service that also ordered over 300 million rounds of ammo as well. Why do these government services need so many bullets, enough to shoot every human in the country three times? DHS is also ordering 900 more bullet proof security booths. This whole exercise seems to be leading in a direction that few of us want.

The only good news this week is that the rumors of a delay in an attack on Iran until next year seem to be true. We are moving a lot of the marine strike forces that have been in the Persian Gulf for months. While this could still be some sort of bluff, the reality is that any attack will wait until spring of next year. Armageddon averted hopefully, for now. But as Hillary Clinton recently said in a speech, there are no good options with Iran. We can't let them get a bomb. We can't attack them. Both options suck, thus the reason for the delay. If word gets out that Iran is close to a nuke or has even a few, attacking them will be imminent.

The last bit I want to write about is the economy. The government said today that only 120K jobs were added to the roster which means it's almost certainly far less than that. Still the unemployment rate dropped somehow which goes against all logic and reason. I swear they just make these numbers up so idiot America will buy into it. Our real unemployment rate has been unchanged at somewhere between 15 and 25%, depending on the level of statistics used. This drop of .1% is bull. And according to businesses everywhere, no one is hiring. Instead we are seeing huge layoffs at places like Yahoo who got rid of 2000 workers this week. The places that are hiring pay near nothing meaning we may have a job but are making less than half of what we used to. What kind of recovery is that?

Recent date show large businesses plan to downsize, with as many as 2/3rds agreeing with that statement. Many plan on going overseas, and not for the reasons you would think. It's not for cheap labor or lesser benefit plans but government bullshit. A vast majority say the political climate here is toxic and is leading to changes that they cannot prepare for. Add to that a terribly complex tax code and many are throwing up their hands and giving up. Plus, overseas they don't have to pay for health care, which is killing their profits. So the GOP, in their anti health care tirades, is actually chasing business out of the country. Brilliant.

This county is headed for a fall, just like Rome or Hitler's Germany. The awful part is that the government will do anything to keep the gravy train going and if that means killing a good part of us, so be it. As long as the stupid Trayvon Martin case keeps dividing us, they are getting exactly what they want.
