ROMNEY WINS SUPER TUESDAY. GOP SIGHS IN DEFEAT

Robot candidate Mitt Romney won the majority of Super Tuesday, all but guaranteeing his eventual nomination as the GOP candidate for president. The remaining three are all still in it as Rick Santorum won in OK, TN and ND and Newt carrying GA. Paul did surprisingly well in VA where he garnered over forty percent of the vote versus Romney, who was the only other candidate running on the ballot. So Romney looks to have a near insurmountable lead going into the convention. Except for the fact that the next few contests are not going to go his way as those over the next few weeks support Santorum.

The scary thing about these numbers isn't who won or lost but the number of people that actually voted. States like Idaho, Nevada and Washington had less than fifty thousand people vote while Maine, North Dakota and Alaska had less than 15,000 vote. The true loser so far is Wyoming in which an anemic 1700 cast their ballot for Romney. A stinging endorsement for the current front runner and politics in general. Some changes have to be made because a rabid few are deciding the fate of mankind and one of the reasons why politics has become so vicious as of late. No one is likely to quit and this race will go down to the convention. As a writer I am thrilled. As an American I am appalled.

In other news, bloated windbag Rush Limbaugh is losing more and more advertisers and I couldn't be happier. Here is a list of all of them who've called it quits:

AccuQuote Life Insurance, Allstate Insurance, AOL, Bare Escentuals, Bethesda Sedation Dentistry, Bonobos, Capital One, Carbonite, Cascades Dental, Citrix, Consolidated Credit Counseling Services, Constant Contact, Cunningham Security, Freedom Debt Relief, Girl Scouts, Goodwill Industries, Hadeed Carpet, JCPenney, Legal Zoom, Matrix Direct, Netflix, Norway Savings Bank, Philadelphia Orchestra, PolyCom, Portland Ovations, ProFlowers, Quicken Loans, Regal Assets, Reputation Rhino, RSVP Discount Beverage, Sears, Sensa, Service Magic, Sleep Train, Sleep Number, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Tax Resolution, Thompson Creek Windows and Vitacost.

The rock group Rush has also asked Limbaugh’s show to stop using its music on the air, according to media producer Bob Cesca. “The use of Rush’s music in this manner implies an endorsement of the views expressed and products advertised on the show,” an attorney for the band said in a letter to the radio show, as Cesca reported. “Accordingly, we hereby demand that you immediately stop all use of Rush’s music and confirm that you will do so.” However, some companies have decided the time is right for them to pick up new ad space. Moral, upstanding companies SeekingArrangement.com and Ashley Madison have bought ad space, which help arrange a sugar daddy dating service and extra marital affairs. And he's calling Sandra Fluke a slut? Pot, kettle, black, tub of lard. I can't imagine your core audience is going to like these new ads but Republicans have been a secretly freaky bunch so who knows.

Premiere Networks, which syndicates Limbaugh's show had this to say: “Premiere Networks is committed to providing its listeners with access to a broad range of opinion and commentary without condoning or agreeing with the opinions, comments or attempts at humor expressed by on-air talent. We respect the right of Mr. Limbaugh, as well as the rights of those who disagree with him, to express those opinions.” The statement continued, “The contraception debate is one that sparks strong emotion and opinions on both sides of the issue. Last week, in an attempt at absurdist humor to illustrate his political point, Mr. Limbaugh used words that unfortunately distracted from the message he was trying to convey. We believe he did the right thing on Saturday, and again on his radio show on Monday, by expressing regret for his choice of words and offering his sincere and heartfelt apology to Ms. Fluke.”

In other words "our cash cow has cried crocodile tears and isn't that good enough." NO, IT ISN'T. Don Imus was fired for his ill-advised "nappy headed hos statement," and that was blown a little out of proportion. Limbaugh calling a woman testifying in front of Congress a "slut" and a "prostitute" because she wants insurance companies to cover birth control is outlandish. Why? Because without that subsidy, it is impossible to afford. And I don't know where the GOPers get that their tax dollars are being used but even if they are you don't get to say where your taxes are used. If I could I wouldn't be supporting these endless wars that never get won as well as any funding for any project ever proposed by Joe Lieberman. But we can't and neither do you. Stop your whining and get back into your hole, Republicans. I can't stand to listen to it anymore.

By the way, Obama was born in this country, there is no evidence whatsoever that a second term means he will be going after your guns (which you also said the first time he ran and so far nothing), and that gas prices have anything to do with his policies. If anything, he's keeping them lower by wisely making sure an attack on Iran is absolutely necessary. I honestly think we will have to at some point but I also agree with the President that now is not the time yet. But that clock is ticking and if we had some hot headed moron like Gingrich in there, the world would already be on fire. Make sure you realized that when you vote in November. Romney showed he will bow down to GOP interests when he backtracked like his ass was on fire over the Blunt amendment and contraception. Obama may have to be voted for again, only because of the devil you know adage. A GOP controlled government was tried once to disastrous results. Maybe it's time to give the democrats a chance. And before anyone spouts off that they had a majority briefly in 2009, they never had a super majority now needed to get any vote through. If the GOP continues their descent into madness, we might get just that
