UPDATED:DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: THE REPUBLICANS AND MITT ROMNEY AGAIN

There were so many people that crashed and burned this week the NTSB should be involved. The GOP wins in a squeaker versus fundamentalist Muslim on who can outstupid the other and, let me tell you, it was a photo finish. Mitt Romney finally had his John "The economy is doing just fine" McCain moment that may officially end any chance at winning as the polls are in freefall right now for him while the most retarded people on the planet decided to play Roger Ebert with disastrous results. Let's see those runner ups.

1)Chris Brown- Helpful hint dude, if you're gained any sort of notoriety for, I don't know, beating women say, getting a neck tattoo of a beaten woman's face that looks suspiciously similar to the very person you have been accused of beating, the rest of us should be able to hit you with a stick every time we see you. Just saying.

2)Clay Nissan and the family suing them- This one is double edged sword where there are no winners. First let's look at the douchebag move when Clay Nissan, in my home state of MA, fired an employee for having the audacity to get cancer while she worked for them and they fired her. This should be illegal in every state in the country. Any worker getting sick should get short term disability from their employer, a temp worker hired to cover missed work and the guarantee of her job back when she gets better. Instead, this is becoming common where it is easier to just fire the person. A friend of mine who was hospitalized for several months got the same treatment just as he was about to come back to work when they said he was no longer needed. No one wants sick workers as they cost money so, in profit only America, you become very expendable should luck turn against you.

So Jill Colter sued for wrongful termination. What's the problem with that you ask? Shouldn't she be standing against yet another corporate injustice, especially one you support? Yes, until her idiot brothers, while protesting against the car dealership, made several damning statements to the press that they had evidence that Clay Nissan had a history of doing this to past employees. When a judge asked them to produce the so called evidence, they balked. This is called slander. On top of that, other employees came forward saying that she was difficult to work with. The judge awarded Clay Nissan $1.5 million in damages. What the truth is in the case is anyone's guess but I would say there are no winners here.

3)Kansas- Another birther bullshit lawsuit tried to derail having Obama on the Kansas ballot due to "questions" about his birth certificate in what can only be described as yet another Flat Earth Society, which was a real group that began in the fifties that doesn't believe in gravity and the Earth as a Sphere. How dumb do you have to be to not believe in things like evolution, the age of the planet and gravity? Mitt Romney adviser Kris Kobach (yes THAT Romney) argued in front of the Kansas State Objections Board that there was ample "proof" of Obama's birth certificate being a fraud and, as a result, he should not be on the ballot come November. The board actually was debating on it until Kobach removed the case himself, citing "hostile elements." Yeah, like Romney who was probably looking on in horror that his name was being used next to the whole birther controversy, not that he's done such a spectacular job distancing himself from this crap either with badly timed jokes reminding people about such stupidity within his party. The only way the GOP has any chances of winning at this election is by cheating and they are going whole hog with that (Voter ID laws, redistricting, changing voters times). The fact that Kansas was seriously debating this nonsense makes me think no one should be voting ever in Kansas until education standards improve.

4)TSA- Really? Again? Christ. This week, blah, blah, blah, another TSA agent, blah, blah, kiddie porn found, blah, blah, 13th TSA agent arrested in less than two years on kiddie porn charges, BLAH. Can we just get rid of this bloated, worthless organization already or do we have to have Catholic Church levels of pedophilia going on to get people pissed? And take Homeland Security with you.

5)Abel Daoud- This could quite possibly be the stupidest man on the face of this Earth. This brain power was arrested by attempting to place a car bomb in Chicago this week. As always, the people who he thought were terrorist sympathizers turned out to be FBI and he was taken down without incident. It's ALWAYS the FBI guys, the same way that fourteen year old teen on the Internet is always a big, sweaty cop waiting to bust you for inappropriate behavior. Anybody trying this nonsense can send me a postcard from Gitmo and let me know how the flight was. Not to mention the fact that he had actually succeeded the bombing when he did, his family would have been following him to Allah as the death toll versus innocent Muslims would have been in the thousands. America is pissed and, if someone does something dumb enough to focus the mob's attention on them, those riots in Muslim nations will look like a Grateful Dead concert.

6)Conspiracy Theorists- It's been another week of "let's blame the Jews," with the release of a terrible movie that does indeed insult Muslims and filmmakers alike. Many are saying it was the Mossad behind it as the film's trailer does make Jews look like the better of the two religions being addressed and the early info that linked the film to Jewish groups. However, if this is a classic disinformation scheme, and I have no doubt that it is, no group is going to be so sloppy to have all the evidence point directly at them. Why invent a cover story that says you did it? Unless it's some kind of brilliant double bluff (It's so obviously the Jews, it can't possibly be them), then we have to look at other suspects.

The main suspects so far are all Coptic Christians which means shadowy Christian groups could definitely be behind it, especially the more apocalyptic ones who want Jesus back. It could be Muslims groups, particularly Iran, which could be looking at having a Muslim uprising to gather more support against the West in a war that may be inevitable. An IAEA report released the other day says Iran may have a bomb by November and both British and US info suggesting 2014 at the latest. Mind you, we have been hearing for thirty years that Iran is six months away from a bomb, but recent developments highly suggest an endgame is approaching. Expect a war withing the next year if current projections remain steady. And then there is a wildest theory that this is some GOP nonsense to stir up trouble for the president. The only problem with this theory is that might actually be true as it looks very similar to something that happened four years ago. This is from Wallstreetonparade.com:

http://wallstreetonparade.com/2012/09/in-the-past-two-presidential-elections-an-anti-muslim-film-has-emerged-exactly-7-weeks-before-the-polls-open/

In the Fall of 2008, in the leadup to the Presidential election, approximately 100 newspapers and magazines in the U.S., including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Miami Herald, Philadelphia Inquirer, and St. Petersburg Times, distributed millions of DVDs of the anti-Islam documentary, “Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West.

The newspapers, inexplicably, did not inquire into the details of who had produced the incendiary film or where the big money came from to place it in millions of big-name newspapers. The nonprofit organization named on the packaging of the DVD as the entity behind the film, the Clarion Fund, Inc., had no known history of operations and had a virtual office address in New York City with no physical presence and no employees on site. Documents submitted to the IRS to obtain its tax-exempt status show the Clarion Fund demanded total secrecy from its vendors.
The film portrayed Muslims as violent people intent on killing Westerners. The first half of the film is filled with scenes of suicide bombers and human carnage; the second half intersperses clips of Hitler, Hitler Youth, or Hitler analogies intermittently with Muslim crowds and young children with fists in the air calling for death to westerners. Once at the beginning and again at the end, the film reminds us that not all Muslims ostensibly want to kill us but quantifies the amount that do as 100 to 150 million – without any effort to support this assertion.

“The full tab, and then some, was paid by the super secretive libertarian nonprofit, Donors Capital Fund. There are shades of Charles Koch all over Donors Capital and Donors Trust. Two grantees receiving repeat and sizable grants from Donors Capital are favorites of the Koch foundations: George Mason University Foundation and Institute for Humane Studies. Another tie is Claire Kittle. A project of Donor’s Trust is Talent Market.org, a headhunter for staffing nonprofits with the ‘right’ people. Ms. Kittle serves as Talent Market’s Executive Director and was the former Program Officer for Leadership and Talent Development at the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation.

That film came out exactly seven weeks before the election, just like this latest gem. The last one had direct ties to the loathsome Koch Brothers. Does this one too?

7)Muslim Extremists- I hate fundamentalists of all sorts. You can believe whatever you want, just leave me out of of your idiotic discussions about whose imaginary friend can beat who? What these lunatics don't get is that we don't follow their religion so we are not bound by the same tenets as them. How happy would Muslims be if a new law passed that stated everyone had to eat bacon every day? They'd be pissed and I would support them being pissed about it.

Let me address any readers sympathetic to the lunatic fringe out there: Get a grip. The US is not responsible for every atrocity that comes out of Hollywood. If they were, they owe me big for garbage like Mortal Combat 2, The Chevy Chase show and any reality show ever made with some giant douchebag as the star. We're sorry, like the producers of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo should be. Now go home and stop killing innocent people every time you get your panties in a bunch. Complain on the Internet like a civilized person. And remember, we have nukes and a military capable of reducing your entire nation to dust. You have rocks, a few grumpy camels and lots and lots of sand. Who do you think will win in a war? Remember that the next time you try to kill an American citizen for no reason, assholes.

8)Republicans- I hope Mitt Romney had flame proof underwear this week because that dude flamed out in a spectacular fashion. Before all this happened, Mitt was roasted on the Sunday morning news programs for not giving one specific on his plans to do anything, making many a GOP pundit declare Mitt a dead fish. And then came the Middle East and African riots where Romney and pals kept hammering the president on an imagined foreign policy bungle which turned out to be completely false. First, they tried to liken Obama policy to a statement from the Egyptian embassy that occurred before the riots even started. Then they doubled down on it while the American people began to grow visibility hostile toward the GOP candidates. Both Ryan and Romney had people interrupt their speeches and their numbers have PLUMMETED in the past few days as independents are fleeing the GOP. The House is now in danger of being lost as Tea Party candidates like Cantor, Bachmann and West have seen major shifts in the numbers and not for the better. Here in MA, Warren has taken the lead by six points in a new poll over Scott Brown as democrat support for him is waning as the GOP is being seen as a toxic brand. If this keeps up, the GOP may wind up in the biggest drubbing in decades as people are now paying VERY close attention and do not like what they see coming from the awful Republicans. So congratulation Mitt, you are for like the hundredth time the year, douchebag of the week. My guess is, I'll probably be seeing you next week and are a solid contender for Douchebag of the Year.
