1)Wells Fargo- Yes this terminally stupid bank strikes again, after being named Douchebag of the Week some weeks back for doing the exact same thing that I called then out on. A couple in California came home from vacation to find their house empty and a foreclosure sign on the front door. The only problem was they didn't have a mortgage with the bank. So they lost thirty years worth of stuff and the best the bank could do was say "oops, sorry." Somehow I don't think that should cover the irreplaceable items lost in what is theft pure and simple. The bank manager who okayed this could be arrested immediately as well as the company that performed the actions, not that that will happen. The upcoming lawsuit should be immense at the very least but this kind of action happens more often than not and re-affirms my position on the subject. While I believe non-violence is the best way to handle most situations, this is not one of them. If someone comes to your house and attempts to steal your goods and property, you have every legal right to defend yourself with deadly force if necessary. Send a few bankers and their gestapo police force to the morgue and watch how fast things change.
2)Drew Peterson- This douchebag extraordinaire finally got convicted for killed his third wife, which was once ruled as a suicide thanks to his cop friends not doing their job in investigating it. His fourth wife is still missing and presumed dead but at least this smug bastard is not going to jail for killing the previous one. Letters recovered from his late wife proved to be the nail in his coffin as she wrote about being worried that Peterson was trying to kill her. A new Illinois law, passed because of this case, allows a judge to admit hearsay evidence in first degree murder cases if the prosecutor can prove the defendant killed the person to prevent them from testifying in court. In addition to the letters, his ex-wife's sister also testified that she had told her that if anything happened to her, Peterson would be to blame. His defense will challenge the verdict on the grounds that his constitutional rights were violated, a valid point as the Constitution protects individuals against such evidence being allowed in court. Expect this one to go the Supreme Court but Peterson will still be rotting in jail the whole time so he should be real popular as he is an ex-cop which, as we all know, prisoners just love. He'll be in solitary the rest of his life at this rate. Good.
3)Camden, NJ- No better place to save money than axing your police force in the most dangerous town in the country. In an effort to save money, the town council fired their entire union police force and replaced them with scabs who will be making far less money and benefits. Just what the worst city in America needs is a police force made of up of people who couldn't get a job at Walmart. Chris Christie has thrown his weight behind the proposal (shocker) as Governor Fat Boy hates unions and the equal protection they offer. I may not like cops but they don't all suck and deserve to get paid for a highly dangerous job. This type of union busting is all the norm so for all you voting Republican just remember that these assholes want you work like slaves for their amusement. More on that later.
4)TSA- Can I go one week without the fuckwads showing up on this list? This week we saw the TSA arrest a woman for daring to challenge their authority at an airport when two female TSA agents wanted to test a woman's drink after she passed through security. She drank it instead so they held her in custody and ON TAPE admitted they did it to be cunts. These are EXACTLY the kind of people who have no business doing this type of work and I hope some enterprising individual out there finds out who they and posts their personal info all over the web. To quote the TSA rules, "If you see something, say something," and to this anyone walking the street in a TSA outfit should be treated like the pariahs they are. Do not serve them in your restaurants, do not let them shop in your stores, do not rent places for them to live. And if they are stupid enough to be walking around in their outfits, approach them and let them know in a non-threatening matter how much you hate them. On top of this, the TSA/DHS has also ordered 1400 pounds of ammonium nitrate which is on top of the 1.2 billion rounds of ammo they already have. Their explanation of using these for training does not hold up as nobody practice with hollow point bullets but cheaper dummy ammo and the sheer amount of explosives would be enough for training over the next decade. We also have hardcore proof as FOIA paperwork says this :
This is unconscionable and illegal and, if it turns out to be true, the final straw. We as people cannot allow us to become East Germany, China or Russia because of acts like this. The only bright spot so far is that Napolitano crony and Chief of Staff to the ICE, Suzanne Barr, who was under investigation for sexual harassment, has been forced to resign. Maybe that butch bitch running DHS will be next.
5)Fox news- It's one thing to have the appearance of favoritism, but these past two weeks were beyond partisanship and very grating. Everything they hated about the DNC, they loved for the RNC. Examples: Eastwood was awesome at the RNC. Celebrities who showed up for the DNC were vilified for being there. Party platform objectives. like anti-abortion and anti gay rights, were nothing to worry about while the DNC putting God and Jerusalem back onto their stage was a violation of human rights. Romney's lack of specifics not a problem. Obama was the Anti-Christ for doing so. Clinton using specifics were boring and misleading while Ryan was telling "the truth" to the American people. GAG! Start being a new organization and not a propaganda machine for the GOP already.
6)Democrats- While they hands down won the fact checker debate over the two conventions, neither addressed real problems for the US and will cost Obama votes come November. Two stories came out this week, and I agree with both of them that the President is leading us down a dark hole and costing him millions of needed votes in the process. Word is is that California's medical marijuana industry is dying and being driven back underground where it does the least good. Many former proprietors are tired of being faced with arrest and forfeitures of not only their business but their homes and are saying enough is enough. One man who used to own a dispensary said he got sick of giving all his info to the government who then used that info to shut his business down and harass him endlessly. Now he sells on the street, pays ZERO taxes on it, and only sells to medical patients so if he gets caught, has a legal defense that will most likely work. This idiocy will cost cash strapped California BILLIONS in taxes while doing nothing to stop pot sales. This is a really bad business decision. Then comes Michal Moore writing how angry he was at the president for lying during his speech that Detroit has been saved. Obama apparently hasn't been there lately as it's still a shit hole and getting worse. True he saved the auto industry but at the expense of the blue collar worker. Salaries were slashed from $30 an hour to $12 with many benefits lost, like a pension, so the only people who walked away from this deal with anything were the high level executives while the average Joe got screwed. A lot of people in Michigan hated this deal and as a result many will not vote for him come November and the main reason why polls have been so close. Lucky for Obama, Romney has given up in PA, MI, and WI, pulling all ads from these states so he can concentrate on OH and FL. Good luck, Romney as you trail in both of those states too.
6)Republicans- After their disastrous convention which convinced no one to vote for them who already hadn't (and those people are brain dead morons who want to die apparently when all safety nets are ripped from their cold dead hands), Mitt Bott 2012 struck again with terrible ads, misleading data and a willingness to repeat lies to an outstanding level. There is very little chance of him winning the presidency unless things change for the worse in a hurry. While I dislike Obama immensely, he is still better than these assholes getting back into the driver's seat again, drunk off their ass and headed for that huge cliff. THE GOP MUST GO.
7)Gina Rinehart- Winner of Most Obese Woman Saying The Dumbest Things Possible go to Australia's richest woman Gina Rinehart who regular readers will remember from a few weeks back calling Australian who weren't rich like here "lazy" and they could be successful too if only they didn't smoke and drink so much. Nevermind the fact that she inherited a multi-billion dollar company from her late father and never worked a hard day in her life, she knows better apparently. Now this week comes another gem from her fat mouth between stuffings of boxes of Twinkies, pure lard and, most likely, human flesh. She actually had the gaul to say that things would be so much better if she could pay her employees two dollars a day like the exploited Africans working the mines in Africa. WTF? As her empire contracts due to Chinese demand for iron ore waning, she is looking to keep her lavish lifestyle in the backs of the average worker, otherwise known as the Ryan Budget plan. I have a better idea. Rinehart should be forced to work in her mine five days a week to see how back braking the labor really is and have to live off the money they make for one year. She'd break after the first day. As he own late father called her a "devious baby elephant," has been sued by members of her family for shutting them out of the family business (and how she made billions in the process) and had her own son change his last name to not be associated with her, we can all agree that this giant pudding of a woman is indeed Douchebag of the week. Here's hoping for a massive heart attack when she's shoveling food into her maw and soon. Drop dead bitch. You'll be doing the world a favor.
