First, let us look at the whole Palestinian/Israeli debate. We have inundated with countless newscasts and blogs about the "poor" people of Gaza who only want to live their lives and not be under the yoke of the Israeli "occupiers." Nevermind the fact that it is Hamas who is seeking the destruction of the nation of Israel and they were democratically elected by the population. Nevermind the fact that Hamas has been firing rockets on a daily basis for weeks now and have, in the past, continued to do so, every few months.
Here is one established fact that is NEVER going to change: the Israelis are not going anywhere. For all those calling Israel an occupying force, I have some really bad news for you. Every single person in the US who is not Native American is also an occupying force. Shouldn't you be leaving as well if being an occupier is such an evil act? But that argument seems to fall on deaf ears as only Israel has ever occupied anywhere on the planet ever in their limited world view. So for all of the people out there who keep saying Israel stole all the land from the Arab world, it is a moot point. It matters not one iota who was there first because the fact remains that the nation of Israel is not going away, they are not going to pre-1967 borders which were militarily undefendable and it is not the Israelis who are standing in the way of the peace process.
Peaceniks seem to forget that the Palestinians were given a way out in 2000 when Yassir Arafat was offered a fantastic deal that gave him 90% of what he wanted. But as the right to return was not part of the package, he swatted it away and started the intifada instead. The right to return is never going to happen as it would turn Israel from a Jewish state to an Arab one and Jews have a certain historical reason for not wanting others to run their destiny. So who is at fault here? Jews for wanting to protect their country from missile fire and suicide bombers (of which the latter have all but stopped since that wall was built segregating the two countries) or the Arabs for wishing Israels destruction. If Israel was able to fight wars the way they should be fought, Gaza would be a smouldering heap and then they wouldn't have to worry about rocket fire anymore. But since lawyers run the war rooms now, we are stuck with symbolic bombings that do little but kill a few people and inflame the public.
The world hasn't fought a real war since WW2 and because of that, most have forgotten how bad war really is. With the Geneva Convention, or How to Lose A War In Ten Easy Steps, being held over every industrialized nation's head, war cannot be fought to win anymore but instead a limited continuous war that never ends. Ever get the feeling that idiotic document was written by the military industrial complex to have never ending wars and thus a continuous supply of ammo and weapons needed? The Geneva Convention should be ripped up and let us go back to fighting wars they were meant to be: bloody, horrific with lots of civilian casualties.
I know some of you out there find that bloodthirsty, but in the long run, it is a much safer way of war. Wars end when the civilian population gives up like the military. Take Japan for a good example. After they lost WW2, the number of attacks on American forces by civilians or military personel was nil. Why? They lost and they knew it. The same went for Germany. When a populace knows the other side could bomb them back to oblivion, the will to fight goes with it. If you are just targeting certain people and keep civilian causalities low, the will to fight is not broken and the conflict will continue as such. More people on both sides will die this way. Which is more humane then?
War should never be entered unless absolutely necessary, which is why we never should have been in Iraq and the Afghanistan war should have ended days after it started. Had we carpet bombed everyone, there would be no suicide bombs, no dead Americans and the world would be a safer place as Al Queda would have had a hard time recruiting potential terrorists knowing that their families would be at risk. Millions may have died, but few would have been here in the US, the war would be over, trillions wouldn't be spent and us and our nation would not be in the financial crisis we are in if we were not spending all that loot on a lost cause.
When I studied martial arts, the first thing I learned is that there are no rules in battle. If someone is unarmed and roughly the same size as me, deadly force should never be used. But if the other guy is built like the Hulk or carries a weapon, there is no degree of proportionality. If someone brings a knife, you don't grab another knife. You get a gun. Why should Israel or the US be held to a different standard? There is no proportionality in war. If one side is firing rockets at you, bomb them back to the stone age if you have to get them to stop. And if anyone else gets involved, knock them into next week too. This idea of fair fighting only works for the weaker individual and prolongs war to unimaginable lengths.
The Hostess debacle is another example of the media lying to people for obvious reasons. Hostess is not going under because of union workers. They are going under due to the Bain Capital-like hostage taking that big business has become. Greg Rayburn took over the company, loaded them up with debt, gave himself and other executives huge pay raises and then told the union they had to work for peanuts. Fuck that. One worker who had been with the company for 37 years said she would rather be out of work than take another pay cut and work for minimum wage. I agree with her. Better to try something else rather than live as a slave.
But the media and the Teatards out there are still blaming the union for not caving into unreasonable demands and never mentioning once that the real reason for Hostess going under was all from the top brass. Not one MSM article or newscast has mentioned this at all. Nice try guys, but I am not stupid enough like the sheeple out there to believe anything coming out of your mouths without doing the research myself and thus the main reason for this blog.
By the way, Hostess will be back as seven different companies are vying for the product for a song and a dance. They may disappear for a year at most, but they will return so stop trying to sell Twinkies on EBay for millions of dollars. Anyone buying these treats at exorbitant prices are really, really stupid and have way too much money on their hands. If anyone would like to donate to my website instead (just hit the donation bar on the side) the money will be much better spent on educating the public on this kind of nonsense.
This is the way of today's business model. The worker is expendable. The business is expendable. All that matter now is the people at top get paid no matter what and screw everyone else. We have lost Twinkies and the like for a while due to rampant greed that shows no signs of abating. And as long as we keep taxes low on the rich, right to work laws and union bashing, things are going to get much worse. I hope all you retards out there who are complaining about unions get fired and find out how much you could have used them. We are all expendable in today's world. Our pay is subject to the whim of whoever is running things and the standard of living is dropping further and further. We need a national union and workers rights or else we are all going to be working for China like wages and poverty will be the new norm.
We are still hearing about Benghazi and the witch hunt against Obama is still continuing over some language that was removed from Susan Rice's talking points. Nevermind that most details were still classified and couldn't be talked about. Nevermind the fact that the people in charge were too busy having illicit sex with their biographers, Tampa socialites and whatever skirt walked into the room. Nevermind the fact that the people crowing the loudest are partisan Republicans with an axe to grind (John McCain I am looking at you). The is another case where you have politics entering into war territory that fails to inform the public that this kind of stuff happens all the time when lawyers get involved. Funny, I don't remember Democrats screaming at Bush for intelligence hearings when it came out that Bin Laden got away in Toro Boro due to legal concerns. The reason being is this kind of crap has been going for years and only being used now because the GOP is losing power on a daily basis. This isn't helping.
The GOP has a real problem with the fiscal cliff and, much like the PLO in 2000, seem not to realize they have little power over the matter anymore. Obama gave them the best deal they were going to get but House Republicans poo pooed it after tax hikes for the rich were added. After the drubbing in the last election, some are realizing they are in over their heads. If they negotiate, their base will kill them. If they don't, and taxes go up on everyone, the entire country will blame them and the 2014 elections will be a rout against them. Either way, they are so screwed.
None of the above is being reported anywhere but here and a few like minded sites. Most are screaming about Israel as an occupying force killing "innocent" people, how unions are the devil's idea and the Benghazi incident actually has a reason for hearings beyond GOP whining. This country is headed for disaster if we don't start realizing that we have real problems that need real solutions and constantly lying to us isn't helping. If there was ever a reason why the MSM is dying, that is it. And the country is going right along with it.
