1)Ariel Castro- The Cleveland Kidnapper, in what can only be described as poetic irony, hung himself in prison this week as he could not stand being locked up. The three girls he held hostage for a decade serenaded him with a round of the world's smallest violin concerto. Hell is not going to be any better.
2)Anthony Weiner- This guy does NOT know the meaning of the word quit. Hovering in the polls around 7% and falling, his political career is just about over. He didn't help himself by being caught on camera several times this week acting like a dick to his constituents. The best was getting into an argument with a Jewish customer who told him to go away, to which Weiner responded, "Who are you to judge me?" Umm, a guy who is never going to vote for you, douche. That's what voters do, they judge you. This guy is unbelievable. I hope his wife leaves him when he loses.
3)Judge Joe Hosey- This dick decided that people who work for companies like Patch.com are not real journalists and ordered a reporter for the online site to turn over his sources on a murder case. I've worked for Patch in the past and everyone who works there is someone who came from the declining newspaper business, like me. I've worked as a journalist in the past and the fact that I blog now instead does not make me any less a reporter. Hell, I do a better job than so called "legitimate" reporters most of the time. The people of Chicago should be demanding this ass be disbarred stat for such a terrible ruling. He is not fit for the job as he obviously doesn't understand the law. Let us hope this does not set a precedent.
4)Sweet Cakes- There was a lot of hoopla in this area when a local business man refused to serve a guy with a service dog. The man was a vet with PTSD and the owner, even after the incident, made things worse by speaking to the press and coming off as an ass. After several death threats, loss of business and even a sanction by the local government, he wisely changed his tune and apologized publicly and got the vet to accept it. That is how you handle a situation. Sweet Cakes of Oregon did the exact opposite. They refused to make a cake for a same sex couple and got blasted for it. When the couple went public with this illegal discrimination, the owners refused to change their mind, the state opened an investigation, bad press followed them everywhere and their business went kaput. Bigotry is bigotry no matter what the fucking Bible says. If you think gay people are evil than you should also supporting things like incest, polygamy and slavery, all of which are approved of in the Bible too. Gay people are people so deal with it.
5)Richard Thomas- A cautionary tale for any would be rapist out there comes this gem from England. Seems Richard got all hopped up on drugs and alcohol and raped a neighbor he knew was sick. The cops found him after the woman identified him and some lucky police officer got to experience Christmas, a birthday and Halloween all rolled up into one. Seems the woman he raped had AIDS to which, finding out the news, he passed out. That is funny. He has up to three months before he knows whether he'll be getting sick or not all the while spending that time in prison. HAHAHA.
6)Officer Gretchen Allen- I think I have finally found the dumbest cop on Earth. Some years back, a guy was taking pictures of a female cop in the Boston Garden to which he got arrested for it. The case went all the way to the State Supreme Court who ruled that as long as you aren't hiding the camera, police are fair game. He also settled with Boston for an undisclosed amount of money. Seems officer dipshit missed all that and started getting all fascist on some guy taking her picture. When she said she would punch him if he continued, he started taking video instead. When she demanded she stop, saying it was illegal, the man responded that it wasn't and even named the case that Supreme Court ruled on. A LT then showed up, took the officer aside and reamed her a new one. She then returned to the photographer, tears in her eyes and apologized. This bitch could have cost the town of Barnstable a fortune because of her idiocy. Feel free to call the police station there and complain. I did.
7)Black Racism- The Klan isn't the problem anymore. It's black people deciding to maim and kill white people with alarming regularity. An elderly man was left brain dead in NYC after an unprovoked attack by yet another black thug who was heard by bystanders saying "he would beat the next white man who walked by." Which he did. He then went on to beat two other white guys before police arrived. Funny how this didn't make the national news at all. And I still can't get away from George Zimmerman on the news who was neither a racist nor a criminal after he was stopped for speeding again, yawn, and his divorce. Black people are becoming violently racist and we're still worried about near mythical white on black violence. Stupid.
8)Syria/Russia/EU/US- This is giant cluster fuck of epic proportions. The US is still rallying for war, even though the public doesn't believe a word of it. Republican are caught between a war with Islam and stopping Obama from achieving anything. Their heads are on full on spin mode at this point. Meanwhile Russia complains that the UN should be getting involved all the while using it's veto power to stop any meaningful action from the same UN. Iran and Hezbollah are saying they will attack if Syria gets attacked. And Syria is thumbing it's nose at us and the EU, who can't decide on any course of action, like always. I have no idea what will occur at this point because there are way too many variables to process. Will Obama get the votes he needs in the House? Unlikely. Will he go it alone if that happens? Unknown. What will Syria do if we don't attack? Will they use more chemical weapons? Don't know as I have no idea if he was behind the first attack. All in all, we are screwed as no one is telling us anything as to what is really going on. The US is leading the pack in stupidity here so they are indeed Douchebag of the week.
