UPDATED: REP. TODD AKIN'S HORRIFIC SOUND BITE, FOX NEWS TRIES TO SELL RYAN MEDICARE PLAN AND OTHER SIGNS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS IN A DANGEROUS TAILSPIN

UPDATE: GOP pundits like Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter have publically said they want Akin to withdraw from the race as he has ZERO chance of winning that election now. To further hamper him if he decides to stay in, the RNC and Super PAC American Crossroads have pulled all support from him. He has until 5 PM tomorrow to make a decision or else his name will be on the ballot. Republicans everwhere are praying for him to leave as what was once a possible pick up for the GOP is now all but lost in the current line-up.

You know it's going to be a long week when it's only Monday and already the Republicans are desperately in damage mode. This weekend, in a moment that was pathetic, hilarious and stupid all the same time, Missouri Representative Todd Akin said something so monumentally insensitive that the whole Biden "put ya'll back in chains," misstep seemed quaint in comparison.

If  anyone wants solid proof as to why I loathe the Tea Party and anyone who follows this backward philosophy, Todd Akin is the poster boy for it. During an interview at KTVI this past weekend, Akin, a Tea Party Representative running for the Senate in Missouri, said "legitimate rape" rarely resulted in pregnancy and that women have the ability to shut down their reproductive system when it happens, thus his opposition to abortion in cases on rape. This is the level of intelligence we have running our country and the fucking Tea Party is trying to put even more in our already diseased Senate which now has a 10% rating. How does everyone keep voting for the same assholes who keep making a mes of things? What idiot is voting for people like Michelle Bachmann or Mitch McConnell? White males mostly meaning my race and sex are the stupidest motherfuckers on the planet to keep putting the retards back in office while simultaneously complaining that nothing ever changes in Congress. Schmucks.

The backlash has been swift and unrelenting. Obama and the Democrats are using this to paint anyone in the GOP as a backward hick who sees the earth as flat, the sun revolves around the sun and global warming isn't happening as the world scorches around them. This is the Tea Party faithful, morons too stupid to open a freaking book that would explain why their beliefs are totally wrong and yet they keep screaming to do the exact opposite methods of anything that would actually fix the problems we have. This is a MAJOR development as the Republicans are still reeling from the whole Medicare debacle (more on that later in the article), now they have abortion and contraception front and center again, a debate they cannot win as a huge majority of the country likes birth control and anyone being against abortion in cases of rape are going to get piled on by women's groups, which is exactly what happened.

The GOP was stunned by the level of vitriol and immediately distanced themselves from Akin, possibly killing his chances of winning now come November. Several Senators, including MA Senator Scott Brown, asked for Akin to withdraw from the race because his presence is going to be a brutal reminder of these hugely unpopular stances that the GOP would rather you not know about.

It has also forced the Romney camp to walk away from Akin's Senate campaign and clarify his flip floppy position on abortion, a volatile issue that divides the country very evenly. A spokesperson for the candidate and VP Ryan, differed from Akin's views and said they would never oppose abortion in cases of rape. This directly contradicts earlier statements from the Romney camp, although they were the usually vague answers we have come to expect from a man with no answers and the Ryan stance which is more aligned with Akin in the past due to his strict Catholic upbringing. People close to the VP hopeful say privately his views are closely tied to Akin's, a point anyone voting for these losers should remember as actions speak louder than words.Tonight's town hall meeting in NH should have plenty of people asking for more clarification and is EXACTLY the kind of questions they don't want. Once again the GOP is on the defense, where they would rather talk about jobs and the economy, now comes another social issue that has derailed any plans for that to happen.

Akin was in a close race before this. His numbers are going to take a hit and anyone supporting this loser should really take a hike. This type of intellectual deficiency is why this country is dying and let's put people into places of power who aren't borderline retarded.

Meanwhile The GOP is putting the own spin on the Medicare issue from Ryan's ill conceived Budget plan. Let alone the fact that no one says this budget will work and that the end result will be a smouldering husk where the USA used to be, Fox News is trying to make gold from the lead weights they have been given. According to them, Obama is criticizing the OLD Ryan budget plan from 2010 and not the new one from 2011 which, according to them, is vastly different. Under the new plan, Medicare would be available for both people who want to stay in the system and a voucher system for those that don't. This shows a complete lack of understanding of how insurance works and will still bankrupt the system just as quickly as the old plan.

If this were to take hold, younger, healthier seniors would get their new insurance and bail on Medicare, leaving it the sickest, most expensive patients. Insurance works by a insuring a large risk pool which contains both healthy people and sick people. If all you have are sick people, costs will rise to unmanageable levels in as short as five years. And all those healthy people are going to get sick one day as they age and guess what, their health care will disappear, forcing them onto Medicare and tanking the system completely. Insurance company's get all the profit and taxpayers get all the bills. This is what the Ryan plan is in a nutshell so don't buy into that, "hey guys this plan will only affect people under 55," nonsense, because what it will do is bankrupt the system and possibly you in the long run. Whenever someone tells you not to worry it'll affect someone else, that someone else is you eventually.

The Republican party want to take every last drop of money and give it to rich people, a concept by the way we tried for eight years under Bush. Remind me how that turned out? Oh that's right, we bankrupted the country and it had nothing to do with people getting loans they couldn't afford, although that was part of it, and everything to do that the CEO's kept giving themselves raises while docking our pay for the rest of us. Check out this graph which shows our wages have been steadily DECLINING for decades as the elites pocketed the difference.

hamilton1 Median Wages Have PLUMMETED Since 1969

Median earnings are closer to what the country makes while the mean average is less reliable, and of course that is the one the government touts. In the above graph, we can see we make less now than in 1970, even though prices have not remained at 1970 levels.
hamilton2 Median Wages Have PLUMMETED Since 1969

From this graph we can see the number of full time workers is plummeting as companies would rather hire part time workers which are cheaper as they usually lack benefits and can be paid less. This is the American the GOP wants so if you vote for a Republican come November also know you are voting to get fired. Companies will look for any excuse to maximize profit and your piddly ass will be thrown to the wolves fast. The GOP is dangerous and getting more and more stupid by the second. If you want the world to end, support your local Tea Party idiot. And then go home and shoot yourself. Please.
