MITT'S LIES, THE MIDDLE EAST, AND OTHER THINGS OUT OF CONTROL

Regardless of the spin some morons are trying to explain about Mitt Romney's debate lie-a-thon, the truth of the matter is that most of what he said is completely at odds with previous statements. In no way, shape or form does his plan cover pre-existing conditions, have any rational way of fixing the debt crisis without raising taxes on the middle class or cater to anybody but rich, white men. A Princeton economist says Romney's plan WILL work, a "fact" being ponied about on Fox News for the past few days. Is it true? No, it isn't and here's why.

First, Professor Rosen's theory is flawed in that it expects at least five percent growth over the next four years, a number no economist says is possible no matter who is in office. Two percent growth is the most we will see until major changes are made in both the EU and Chinese economic models, one of which is failing miserably (the EU) and the other is showing signs of slowing down (China). So unless Professor Rosen has some crystal ball that sees an end to these two improving dramatically, this level of growth is a pipe dream, like most of what Romney keeps proposing.

Also unless he tells us what loopholes he will close, it is impossible to have an accurate measure of how he will balance the budget. Also, there is no way to balance the budget and not raise taxes on somebody and achieve what he wants. Even in cases where they say Romney's plan is possible, high level and very popular loopholes would have to be eliminated, in which case while tax rates may not go up persay, they will still require rich people to pay more, a stance he has said he is against. You can't have it both ways.

There is still some talk in the blogosphere that Romney cheated in the last debate by using notes, a fact born out by pictures that show written notes on the podium. Romney claims it was handkerchief but pictures show that is lie. The MSM as usual has shown no intrest in this case along with every other troubling fact about the GOP nominee, forever destroying the notion of a liberal media. We have corporate media which are all run by conservative douchebags. Yes reporters are usually lefties, while the editors and owners are all right wingers, something I have seen first hand working in TV and newspapers in the past.

Romney's debate bounce has been slight at best, which is not surprising as most people weren't dumb enough to fall for Romney lying through his teeth, even though Obama looked like he was asleep at the wheel. This week's VP debate has expectations sky high for Ryan, which plays well for Biden to play the spoiler. Everyone expects Biden to gaffe his way through the debate while Ryan shines, a fact not given past performances by either. Biden killed in his last outing versus Palin and can be quite the pit bull when necessary. Ryan's RNC speech was filled with outright lies that I expect Biden to hammer him over when he tries to do anything like Romney did in last week's debate. The Democrats won't fall for that twice.

Romney gave his foreign policy speech today which was filled with "great" ideas like arming the Syrian rebels, a terrible idea as past revolutions have ushered in even worse people into positions of power. Weren't the Republicans the ones pissed at Obama for not supporting Mubarak and Qaddafi yet here they are wanting to overthrow Assad? Idiots.

The Middle East is falling apart as I write this, with a war about to break out in many places. Turkey and Syria are shelling each other across their borders for the last six days now. Israel is in war mode after Lebanon used a drone to photograph sensitive areas and after Hamas launched a barrage of missiles from Gaza which caused an immediate reaction from Israel which included a volley from tanks and planes into the region. Iran is rumored to be behind all of this, using the usual war tactics by proxy. Islamic Jihad is warning of more attacks to come from Lebanon.

While all this is occurring, several economists are warning of a massive stock market crash, perhaps wiping out 90% of all gains. This would drive the market into the 2000 range, wipe out the derivative market and send world economies into the worst Depression in hundreds of years. If Romney gets into office, this future is all but guaranteed as his policies will destroy any economic growth Obama has been able to make.

Much has been made about the unemployment numbers being rigged which is both true and false at the same time. The unemployment numbers have been rigged since Reagan first started tinkering with them back in 1981 so the numbers do not represent the true level of unemployment which is hovering around 22% which has changed only slightly since Obama came into office. However, the majority of that number is due to the economic disaster that was inherited from the worst president ever, George W. Bush. That being said, even using the unadulterated numbers, the unemployment numbers have dropped slightly and the Republicans don't have a leg to stand on as the rigged numbers have been the same ones they touted during their reign as well. Now, according to them, since the numbers are showing signs of improvement, it's rigged. The fact is the numbers have been rigged for over thirty years, started by Saint Reagan, and only now are they complaining about it. A little late guys to be bitching about something you started. It is IMPOSSIBLE to rig the numbers as they stand now so, for all tense and purpose, the unemployment rate HAS gone down, even if it was slight and rather insignificant in the long run.

The GOP is determined to tell you the sky is not blue, water is poison and make you believe it. They will use some idiotic study that distorts the truth as proof they are correct, much the same way they have muddied the waters when it comes to climate change which is destroying our Earth. A new unbiased study says that 50% of the Great Barrier Reef is dying due to high acidity of the oceans caused by Global warming. Temperatures are rising and weather is becoming more and more unpredictable and the GOP says don't worry God will save us. I put my faith in mankind and not some invisible, imaginary guy in the sky. So should you. Remember that in November if you value the lives of you and your children. Vote for Romney at your own peril because these backward hicks will send us back to the Ice Age which will not be populated with giant woolly mammoths who sound like Ray Romano.
