OBAMA WINS HANDILY IN LAST NIGHT'S DEBATE. DOES IT MATTER?

In a reversal of the first debate, Obama came out swinging as Romney merely occupied space. The polls afterward showed a distinct advantage to the president in a two to one margin. I'll be honest in that I didn't think Romney was that bad but I also didn't think the president tanked as hard in the first debate either. The most shocking part of the polls were that women overwhelmingly thought the president won, forever killing the previous idea that women were turned off by the negative aspect of the last debate. Romney must have seen those polls, turned into Ambien Obama and lost as a result.

The most damning part of Romney's loss was his inability to either attack the president on places where he was vulnerable like Benghazi or to agree with him on everything else. I am sure he was trying to tie his coattails to the fact that the president, for all his faults on the domestic scale, has been near brilliant when it comes to foreign policy. However, this may have backfired on him, as appearing to agree with someone that the far right sees as a Marxist Kenyan version of Stalin and should never be agreed with on anything, made him look like Obama-lite. His whole argument was the president is friends with Israel, I will be best friends with them. The president is tough on China, I will be tougher. If the president had claimed to be besties with Netenyahu, Romney would have said he has plans for a slumber party with the Israeli PM and that they will braid each others hair and have pillow fights.

The sad part about all of this is that Idiot America is falling for this moderate Mitt which is not real. Are we as a people so stupid we can't see the danger right in front of us? Watch Mitt Romney answer questions about Iran and you will see a seething hostility barely hidden beneath the surface. Is this really the man you want in charge of our nuclear arsenal? All we need is one lone nutbag somewhere in the world with a death complex and it's game over. The last thing we need is one right here. Mitt Romney has something to prove if he gets into office. He has no understanding of world politics and has shown a terrible history in his few foreign trips by constantly putting his foot in his mouth.

You have to give the President some credit for slamming Romney last night with a few well places zingers. Romney got slammed with Obama's "horses and bayonets" comment as well as his David Spade impression," The 80's called and they want their foreign policy back." Ouch. In no way did Romney win this debate as he played defense all night, fought back little and even went so far as to tell the president attacking him was out of bounds. Romney attempted to change debate tactics again only this time it blew up in his face as every poll taken out there say the president won huge.

But will this turn into votes? I don't know. Polls today show a tightening in areas like Iowa and Ohio, while PA and Michigan are a loss for Romney at this point. NC is being abandoned by the president as polls there suggest little chance of a blue win. If the election were held today, Obama would have 253 electoral votes and Romney 206. This means that Romney cannot win without Ohio and Florida. Obama could lose both and still win if he picks up Virginia and any other state. Either way, this election is going be razor thin and there in lies the problem.

The people are going to lose their mind if another close election appears to be stolen to either side. The UN is sending people to watch our election for the first time so even the world is unsure how this will play out. If Romney wins and the exit polls do not match in key states like Ohio, expect the inner cities to riot. If Obama wins and the exit polls again don't jibe, expect the red states to burn with anger and possible riots if not outright assassination attempts across a wide variety of Democrats and the left in general. Either way, things may get really awful the day after the election so be prepared if you live in major city for real problems.

We still have not one but two people claiming damning evidence against either candidate: Gloria Allred and Donald Trump. There is only one problem with this: Donald Trump has destroyed any credibility he once had while Allred is still a respected lawyer and has previously destroyed the political careers of both Meg Whitman and Herman Cain with her lawsuits against them. Supposedly Donald Trump is holding a press conference tomorrow to expose this "HUGE" news. Unfortunately for him, no matter what is, considering the source, nobody but the true believers out there will buy into it. Sheriff Joe Apraio tried the same bull months ago, claiming "new" evidence that the President was born in Kenya and then trotted out the same old nonsense that had already been thoroughly discredited. I expect the same from Trump.

The story with Allred has not gone beyond the rumored phase but I expect tomorrow may be a big news day for both if she really does have something. I posted all about the rumors the other day where a civil suit may be filed against Romney for emotional cruelty by a woman who says she was pressured by Romney to not have an abortion even though her life was indeed in danger. This could destroy any support by women for Romney and swing the election hard to the left. Trump has little chance of doing the same if the word birth certificate appear anywhere in his press conference tomorrow as he will be laughed off the stage. Even if he had damning evidence, nobody is going to believe the evidence is real and this event will do nothing but help Obama instead.

The election is still two weeks away and I don't know how much more of this nonsense I can take. I am so tired of studying polls, analysing what this pollster had to say, what this right wing lunatic is spouting, it's all gotten so old. After last night's debate, I expect a small swing toward the president, and as seven million people have already voted, mostly for Obama, Romney is going to have do some damage control for the next week, perhaps more if Gloria Allred does have something to announce, most likely tomorrow to counter Trump. Which do you think will get more news? Trump's birth certificate fiasco or Allred accusing Romney of anti-abortion views far to the right of most? If you have to ask, you are probably one of the undecided voters and a really thick individual. There is not a choice in this election. I may not like Obama but I know he won't get us all killed when his magic underwear gets bunched. Vote Romney at your own peril and once again I will remind you that Jews voted for Hitler and look where that got them.
